By COSkiBum from Golden, CO on 11/17/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Hiking, School, skiing Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great pack! Wish it was a little bigger.... with a CamelBak in it there isn't a ton of room for other stuff. They fail to mention that it has a ski support system. Way comfortable! feels like there's nothing on your back. Stays right on you! Awesome buy!
By Country Mouse from Twin Cities MN on 11/17/2009 Pros: Color, Comfortable, Dual zip, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Sports Describe Yourself: Conditioning Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I live in Minnesota so I wanted an every day jacket that was both stylish and built for the extreme. This jacket does both.
I love the cinch waist and the dual zip features.
Once the weather gets a bit colder the tall, wide stand up collar will be perfect. I almost gave one less star because of this but didn't due to the simple fact that I need this collar when I go out at -20.
Good quality, similar to GoreTex By Dr. Rosie from Bolingbrook, IL on 11/17/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Spring or Fall Apparel Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought jacket mainly for casual rainwear. The fabric is midweight, definitely not windbreaker material, and similar to GoreTex. I like the its styling, classic enough to be worn for a few years. Long enough to cover the buttocks. The cons are: prefer lining inside pockets for additional warmth, no chest pocket or dual zipper, prefer to have a parka style but hard to find at reasonable price. Overall, a good product and must not wear cotton to maintain breathability.
Well made jacket, not very packable. By Harry the hiker from Virginia on 11/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Windproof Cons: Is NOT packable in itself Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this jacket to take camping with me. I was hoping that it would pack into one of its own pockets or a stuff sack. Alas, it does not pack into its own pockets and was too bulky and heavy for camping, so I had to return mine. However, it was a very well made and sturdy jacket and would be an excellent choice for someone who is not looking for minimal weight and/or packability.
