Hot, but two hours later, not. By The busy mom from Hampton, VA on 06/26/2009 Pros: Dishwasher Safe, Stylish Cons: Didn't keep hot enough, Needs insulated outside Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: As mentioned above...
didn't keep liquid hot enough, long enough.
Needs an insulated outer layer, but did like the metal inside.
absolutely adorable and perfectly sized! By yikes from chapel hill, nc on 06/26/2009 Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Have to hand wash, but that is not that big a deal, very cute, 1 shot espresso cups that are thermal. Really fun item, great for gifts.
By Frglvr from Effort, PA on 06/26/2009 Describe Yourself: Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this for my husband's commute to work. It's a great mug, very classic and durable. It is recommended to be hand-washed, to prolong the life of the mug (which may be why all the others we've bought are all broken!) A great price!!!
By Terry from APO, AE on 06/18/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Bright, Durable, Unique Cons: Complicated, Not dishwasher safe, Slow Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I got this to work o.k. but has to carefully follow the directions. First you boil water someplace and put the water and coffee in the mug. Then you carefully put the lid on for two to four minutes to let it brew. Then you carefully and slowly push down the plunger. Then, to stop the brewing, you slide the lid into the open position. From the instructions: "This releases the sealing disk that will slide down and secure the grounds, keeping your beverage full of flavor without overbrewing. You can even add cream and sugar without removing the lid." The coffee did not have grounds in it but the whole process was somewhat complicated. I think the mugs would be good for camping but I don't think I will bother with it for everyday use. For that I'll stick with my manual Melitta.
By AEA from twin cities MN on 06/17/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice cups but the lids are to loose and it doesn't hold the tempuerature as well as I had hoped.
Nice looking tumbler at a great price By knitey from DC Metro on 06/11/2009 Pros: BPA Free, Good Capacity, Retains Temperature, Unique Design Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice looking tumbler; great quality and a great price.
By knitey from DC Metro on 06/11/2009 Best Uses: Breakfast, Gifts, Home, Office Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great quality cup and hard to beat at this price. The only improvement that could be made is to be able to put it in the dishwasher, and for that reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5.
By busy social worker from Lebanon, CT on 06/11/2009 Pros: Good Capacity, Retains Temperature, Stainless steel lining Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like that the lid closes easily, It won't splash as I walk to my office.
Lid Poor Fit...Makes this useless By stylemaven from Michigan on 06/05/2009 Cons: Handle hits too low, Lid does not fit on any Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, Frequent Entertainer, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought several. The lid is too loose and does not fit any of them. Because of this, not travel-worthy, which is what they're for. "molded for cup holder" part is too short, doesn't sit securely in cupholder. Would only use safely at home...I have plenty of cups for that. Not worth [...] to send back..Very disappointed in this one.
