Maggy London

Women’s dresses are clearly experiencing a fashion revival and Maggy London dresses are leading the way. Founded in 1979, Maggy London is one of America’s most affordable purveyors of better dresses for daytime and evening wear. Maggy London dress styles are at once classic and contemporary, evolving their collections from one year to the next by choosing vibrant fabrics and styles that flatter all women’s figures. Milton Cahn and Larry Lefkowitz started Maggy London women’s clothing using pure silks in the ‘70s, then gradually introduced other colorfully appointed dress fabrics... all designed for maximum drape and visual appeal. Maggy London’s collection of dresses, skirts and shirts offers a pleasing variety of tasteful career options for women whose ages range anywhere from 25 to 65. Women who discover the signature look and fit of Maggy London clothing will want to keep a close eye on the fresh styles emerging from this 7th Avenue designer.

Comments:
This is a great dress for a work or nice occasion. I'm a petite size and I found the fit slightly snug, but generally I wear more casual loose-fit clothing day to day. Very versatile with a scarf or jacket (or both/neither). Excellent quality and professional look.

Comments:
Such a disappointment as the lines were flattering and fabric was lovely and beautifully lined. The cleavage was so low, "they" were literally falling out -- and I tried two sizes -- 12 and 14. The dress otherwise fit nicely. Returned both.

I did return the first dress I ordered because there was some gapping around the bottom snaps. I had to try again because the dress is so cute and flattering. The second one is better.

Maggy London Matte Jersey Tunic - ¾-Sleeve (For Women)

not as taiored as it looks

Comments:
This tunic is not really a sharp edge garment as it looks in the photo... it is more of a shirt without defined lines... The quality is okay but not what I expected nor a great value for the $$

Comments:
I had high hopes for this dress. After reading others' comments I figured that although I am a size 4 or 6, the size 8 would fit. It did, but it was remarkably unflattering. Although I am thin, it actually made me look fat and busty! The neckline is VERY low. It also has a sort of 50's retro look. A most peculiar cut.
