Marker USA

Marker USA

Marker got its start in 1952, when skiing pioneer Hannes Marker produced and marketed the first commercially successful releasable ski bindings. Marker continued to perfect his new binding system, and soon other ski companies began manufacturing releasable ski bindings. Now, with more than 50 years in the ski gear and clothing industry, Marker has become a snowsport leader, adding ski jackets, ski pants, snowsport helmets and goggles to the Marker product line. You can’t beat a Marker Gore-Tex® waterproof jacket for a snowy day on the slopes, and Marker also offers performance mid-layer clothing like fleece jackets and vests. For legendary Marker quality at closeout prices, you’ve come to the right place.

I'd normally wear a medium, but one review mentioned that it ran small, so I ordered the large. Should have ordered an XXL. Sleeves are very narrow.

I usually take a Med and I ordered large. It is still snug. I wish it had a draw string at bottom. It is ok but I wouldn't order another.

Comments:
Jacket is well made, but sizing is off. I usually wear a Size 8/10 - small to medium in most brands. But in this jacket, I needed a Large, and that still was only big enough for a light layer underneath. Despite being small in torso, sleeves ran long on me but can easily be turned up. It's a good jacket if you can find the right size, but doubt it would work for anyone above size 12.

At my age, over 50, I wear clothing looser than youth, so Med was a good choice.

I like my fleece to fit close so I can layer, so I guess these do run a tad small. I read the reviews & ordered a size up (L) and am thrilled it fits so well (chest 37). Also dries fast!
