Mine was at least a full size too small.

Comfortable. Good with jeans or slacks. Tight fit - get next size up if you are between sizes or wearing over a t-shirt.
By Dave from Frederick, MD on 09/17/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very nice light linen shirt. The check pattern is small enough that it looks like a solid color from a short distance. I've had great luck with all the Martin Gordon products I've purchased here, this one is no exception.
By Dustin G. from Washington on 09/16/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: High-end shopper Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I absolutely love this shirt. The pictures don't do it justice as it fits wonderfully, is very comfortable, and seems to be of a pretty high quality cotton. I lift weights and naturally have very broad shoulders and big arms, so shirts generally fit me poorly as my shoulders, chest and arms stretch my shirts but around my stomach and waist shirts always seem to be too big, and have a floppy "moo-moo" look. This shirt fits great, and doesn't have too much material around the waist, but has a pleated back so it has room in the shoulders.
Great shirt, would recommend it to anyone that doesn't need a ton of room around the waist/stomach.
