By sfar from Seattle, WA on 09/20/2008 Pros: Abrasion Resistant, Comfortable, Tough Best Uses: Long Rides, Poor Weather, Protection Motorsports: Motorcycle Enthusiast Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the second Adventure jacket I've owned. I bought the original version and wore it daily for years. The new model is even better, especially in terms of being highly visible to motorists. There is reflective material sewn throughout the jacket. I commute daily in Seattle and have found the jacket to be completely waterproof, much better than the First Gear pants I wear with it. There are lots of nice touches, as well, like good ventilation slits in the back and bicep area, a great pocket for your sunglasses that's accessible without unzipping the front. The silver color makes it much easier to regulate the temperature when it's sunny.

Strong zippers, weak clips By Dan in kiwi land from Dunedin, NZ on 03/13/2008 Pros: Adequate Capacity, Attractive Design, Good quality zipper, Lightweight Cons: Clip unlatches randomly, Not Secure Best Uses: Daily Commuting, Staying Organized, Traveling Describe Yourself: Form follows function Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoulder strap unlatches at random times. It has happened so many times that I no longer trust the bag carrying my laptop - which was a big reason why I purchased the bag. I am looking for a replacement.
did not live up to company's claims By ferret from whittier, ca on 03/04/2008 Pros: Abrasion Resistant, Breathable Cons: Bulky, Not rain resistant, Uncomfortable Best Uses: Long Rides, Off-Road Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: commute in rain revealed wet spots along zipper line in front, arm pits, and wrist area. inner liner sleeve hold down ripped, very flimsy. replaced inner liner with my own. First Gear uses snaps for sleeve hold downs and is much better.
By Rassoul from Chicago, IL on 01/06/2008 Pros: Adequate Capacity, Attractive Design, Lightweight, Quality Construction Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this bag to carry my "necessities." Ilike the waist strap which helps keep the thing on my shoulder. I would have liked to have pockets inside the bag to hold small items like datebook, pens, etc.
Very comfortable and functional gloves.. By Mrsoup from Hoosierland on 12/17/2007 Pros: Abrasion Resistant, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Stylish, Tough, Washable Best Uses: Hot weather, Long Rides, Mild temperature, Street Riding Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The most comfortable and functional gloves that I have owned, and I have tried a bunch over the years. Work well in mild to hot temperatures. Sized acurately. Only issue I have is that they show dirt easily. But, since they are a 'natural' leather and not dyed that is to be expected. Plus, they can be hand washed and still feel as new.

Is versatile mentioned anywhere? By AJ from Phoenix, AZ on 12/10/2007 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Long Rides, Poor Weather, Street Riding Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Its been raining here in Phx and this Marsee has really come in handy. I am able to use just this one for the rains and the cooler weather, just zip/unzip and you're ready to hit the roads.
Getting to the inner pockets gets to you when you've got the outer rainy layer on... otherwise its a wonderful jacket. Go for it...
By Red Rock Ridin' from Utah on 12/05/2007 Pros: Abrasion Resistant, Lightweight, Stylish, Tough Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: VERY large capacity - if you don't have a large tank, it could be a little too big for your bike.
