By mountaingirl from co on 11/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Polartec Power Stretch. It is warm, soft, and breathable. I will wear this as a shirt...not a jacket to run, snowshoe, and camp. I am between a small and medium....so I bought a small, which is snug but works OK. I like these so well I have purchased them in three different colors!
Great, and a great value! By Bug from SW Penna on 11/12/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought this for cool weather backpacking. I haven't used it on the trail yet, but on first wearing I can say that it fits great: not too bulky, which is important for wearing with a backpack, but with room enough for mobility. I run hot, so the pit zips are welcome (and hard to find in a midweight jacket), and the plackets are unobtrusive and comfortable. The pockets are large and I appreciate that they sewed down the bottom of them in the jacket interior, making two additional pockets that are ideal for maps. I'm sure this jacket makes fine casual wear, but it's really meant to be a simple technical piece for layering over a base and under a shell, and it's absolutely spot-on for that purpose.

Great windproof softshell By Chris the outdoorsman from Gulf Coast of AL on 11/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather, Windy conditions Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket has a very athletic fit and is a great mid layer for snow or rain. The exterior does'nt hold grass and leaves, the stretchiness is great and the inner microfleece lining is surprisingly warm. The best part is the Gore Windstopper which totally eradicates any wind chill factor. The pit zips allow use in milder weather. Quality construction all around.
