It is soft leather and the embroidery is well done. Everything was perfect, including the fit. The only drawback for some people might be that it is a short jacket and if that's not what you want, don't order this. It will look great with dark jeans and a white shirt and lots of other things as well.

The sleeves are just a bit long for me, but I am petite sized. Not for everyday wear, obviously, but will look beautiful on certain occasions and with the right outfit. Colors are great for fall.

Beautifully made, suede soft as butter and the embrodery is lovely. I bought it a little larger than I normally wear, not snug and fitted, and I am quite pleased. Will wear it with jeans and a long sleeve white blouse with wide cuffs. I dress up when I shop and am very fussy how I appear. This is a winner!

It is a flattering fit, as well. However, I couldn't reconcile myself to the powder blue contrast stitching. Its more noticeable than I'd like, so i returned it. If it was in a more subtle color I would have kept it.
