Medi Comfort

Medi Comfort

Luxury isn’t often associated with long underwear - but Medi Comfort angora and merino wool long underwear for both men and women is truly nothing less than luxurious. How does Medi Comfort long underwear rise above the competition? Medi Comfort’s long underwear tops, bottoms and shirts blend together the softness of angora, the warmth of wool and a hint of smooth nylon for stretch. Other Medi Comfort base layers utilize merino wool for softness and warmth combined in one fiber. Great for camping and hiking, Medi Comfort’s base layers and long underwear help insulate when paired beneath shells or sweaters. When it comes to layering, no one does it quite as comfortably as Medi Comfort.

Medima Merino Wool-Angora Long Underwear Bottoms - Midweight (For Women)

Lovely but way small
By letitbeVerified Reviewer from Missoula, MT on 01/12/2009
Pros:
Lightweight, Warm
Cons:
Poor Fit
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Everyday Wear
Describe Yourself:
Frequent Exerciser
Fit:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These are so soft I would love to wear them every day. However I had to return them - ordered a medium and they are very short & tight in the legs which makes the ankle hit at lower calf and the crotch never gets there! I'm 5'6". I think they must be made for the asian body type as opposed to the scottish/english who have larger thighs and hips.

Nice feel to fabric, waistband too thin
By BikerVerified Reviewer from Davis, CA on 01/07/2009
Pros:
Lightweight, Soft
Best Uses:
Cold Weather
Describe Yourself:
Frequent Exerciser
Fit:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I loved the feel of the fabric, but I did not like the very thin elastic waistband, which felt like it would roll around too much, so I returned these. Others may be fine with that, so just a personal preference. I ordered both a medium and a small to try and both felt true to size.

Dissapointed
By Bo Peep from Indianapolis, In on 01/06/2009
Pros:
Lightweight, Snug Fit
Cons:
Legs felt cold, Not as warm as expected, Poor Fit, Too small for med, Too Thin
Best Uses:
In house relaxing
Describe Yourself:
Frequent Exerciser
Fit:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I was disappointed--thought they would be very warm. I am a senior and need warmth on my legs--these do mot make me feel warm. They are soft and light weight but ineffective for me. Merino and Angora are about the warmest fibers--these are just too lightweight.

Itchy
By Zooms from New England on 01/05/2009

Cons:
Poor Craftsmanship, Poor Fit
Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Gym, Hiking, Travel
Describe Yourself:
Occasional Exerciser
Fit:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Slightly itchy and poor fit - the legs are too short (come halfway up my calf) even though I ordered two sizes up. If you are petite with short legs, they may fit better.

I prefer wool-silk
By cold weather friend from upstate NY on 01/02/2009
Pros:
Fabric soft, Lightweight, Warm
Cons:
Not ankle length-too shor, Poor Fit, Restricts Movement, Waist elastic binding
Best Uses:
Cold Weather
Describe Yourself:
Occasional Exerciser
Fit:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
this item may be mis-sized as "large-size 12." I have 30" waist and this is bit binding. I am 5'5" and they are too short - calf not ankle length - so they may be a petite not a regular. I would have returned them but I put them on just before I had to go out.

teeny, but soft.
By su b from bloomington on 01/02/2009
Pros:
Soft wool not prickly, Warm
Best Uses:
Cold Weather
Fit:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
These are really nice wool, but are sized for a Japanese market, which means that the "medium" is an American small. I'm 5'4" and usually a size 8, and I think I'd prefer a large in these -- the medium is just a little too snug, and a bit short, even.

Lightweight, Warm
Best Uses:
Cold Weather
Describe Yourself:

Comments:
They are very light and warm. I am pretty small so thy fit me without a problem but for a medium they are small. The only trouble is that they are a bit itchy. I've only worn them once so want to try them again after washing and see how they feel.

Toasty warm!!

Best Uses:
Cold Weather, Everyday Wear, Snow Sports
Describe Yourself:

Comments:
I wear these daily to keep myself warm! They will ride up on the leg, just a bit, but easy to smooth down, even with tight pants on. My bum gets very cold and i have NEVER liked a garment for this delicate area better than these warm briefs. Would recommend them highly to all my friends that get cold.

A disappointment
By Bravoboy from Portland, OR on 01/01/2009

Cost
Cons:
Poor Fit, Too Thin
Best Uses:
Indoor activities
Describe Yourself:
Occasional Exerciser
Fit:
Feels too small
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
A big disappointment after years of ordering what I thought was the same Medima product from Sierra Trading Post. This was much thinner, very short and snug. I ordered a medium based on other customer reviews. I have reordered a large (and I usually wear size 2 or 4 clothes.)
