Looks great, not so much arch support By K8 from Seattle on 11/11/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy On and Off, Lightweight, Looks great Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I have to wear my orthotics with these shoes - they do not offer the arch support that my other Merrells do. The brown pairs fits fine and looks great. The black pair is tighter and squeaks when I walk! I'm going to get them stretched out at a shoe store.
Higher quality than expected By Natron from Greenwater, WA on 11/11/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Extreme Conditions, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This Jacket is an almost perfect representation of a soft shell jacket. The fit and finish on this jacket is outstanding and well worth the price. From the left breast pocket, that allows acess with a backpack on. To the reinforced elbows and shoulders, the longer sleeves for use with gloves and activities that force you to strech your arms. Merril got it right with this jacket.
By Buckeye from Ohio on 11/11/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Disappointed in the comfort and the shoe slips in the back. Also hurt in the toe area at first, but seem to be breaking in well. Not what I expected from a Merrell, which is my favorite. However, they are stylish and can be worn for casual or semi-dressy.

Quality and looks are both great.
Nice Shoes - sizing advice accurate By cw from Burlington, VT on 11/10/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These do run ~1/2 size smaller than other Merrells that I have.
By Love comfy shoes from Franklin, TN on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Easy On and Off, Good Traction, Great Fit, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Walking/Hiking Describe Yourself: Recreational User Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought the black because the brown ones I already have like them are SO comfortable! The new black ones are a little snugger but they will stretch a little with wear. I wear these shoes for long days shopping, walking on campus, etc.
Great boot, defective footbed By TeleClaire from Golden, CO on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Like many other reviewers have said, these do run a bit small and have a funny footbed. The footbed is reasonably easy to fix. You just need to trim the toe down a bit with a pair of scissors and the footbed will lay flat. The other option is to put another set of footbeds in, which I think is a great idea if you want more arch support, something these boots lack.
The boot is warm, comfortable, and cute. Definitely order a 1/2 size up.
By farmgirl from lodi, wi on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Traction, Stable, Water Resistant Best Uses: Backcountry, Day hikes, Everyday, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i am slowly changing all my footwear to merrells as they don't leave my feet sore after wearing them all day. these boots are no exception. worn right out of the box for 2 days working on the farm- no problems. they seem to be stable and comfy. wish they were about an inch taller because of my weak ankles, but no problems so far.
