But I intentionally picked this one for shorter trips. I think it is the perfect size. I love the side zipper so I can unpack from the side. The rain cover is a nice feature.

I like the mid load feature. Ease to find the items in the lower portion of the backback.

Shoulder pads would benefit from more or different padding. Front access to main compartment a mixed blessing for me.

Easy access to the main compartment from the top or from the zippered opening in front. Great for an overnight backpack.
