By Akfletch from Homer, Alaska on 03/21/2009 Pros: Durable, Great Fit, High Quality Material, Holds Color Well Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Much longer waist than Carhartt, so they don't bind in the crotch. No frills and tough as nails By WarmNAlaska from Denali National Park, Alaska on 03/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I usually wear an XL in shirts and jackets, so ordered the Tough Duck Canvas Work Vest in this size, and it was a bit large for me.[...] This is a no-frills, heavy duty vest which is very functional, and not a fashion statement. It washes very easily, unlike down or synthetics which are delicate. I purchased a second vest for a friend who is a heavy equipment mechanic, and he swears by his vest, and wears it every day. The long back is really nice, as is the cloth collar which fits well and adds some warmth to the neck.[...] I wouldn't recommend this vest for folks in a wet climate, as it is cotton, but for a dry climate such as interior Alaska where I live, it is perfect.
Nice product for the price. It seems to be as well made as the more popular brands and is warm in cool weather. Good early spring/early fall wear.
