Lightweight shirt, looks good By Anonymous from NoVA on 11/16/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice shirt. Not as heavy-duty as I would expect from Mountain Hardwear. More dressy/flashy than hard-core hiking. Still a good lightweight shirt.
Comfortable, warm and stylish By Nanny Jo from Iowa City, IA on 11/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Good Weight, Lots Of Pockets, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Frequent Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The first thing I liked about the coat was the color. I got the green shade. The second thing I liked was the warm lining and the sleeves. The sleeves are long enough to cover your wrists and the elastic band is not tight or restricting. The only thing I don't like is minor, the shell material is a bit noisy when you move. Overall, I love my new coat.
By ecrab from montana on 11/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Weight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Sports Describe Yourself: Occasional Exerciser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: So soft and warm!
By Cali Beach Girl from San Diego, CA on 11/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Work Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was worried that the side seam pocket would look strange, but it's almost completely invisible. I was also concerned about the non-natural fabric, but I am now a BIG fan of MH's "Vespa" fabric because it feels light and cleans well. This shirt is comfy for the schizophrenic aircon in my office - I'm either sweating or freezing, and this shirt handled all of my multiple jacket on/offs throughout the day without showing any wrinkles!
By Hiker Girl from Indianapolis on 11/16/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: great contrast with colors and stitching

By miss muffin mom from Basalt, CO on 11/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, Great Color, High Quality, Stylish, Washes Well, Wrinkle-Free Cons: Strange pull cord ankle Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love everything about these pants except the pull cord around the ankle. It makes the material around your ankle hang funny. Otherwise a great pair of hiking pants.
Good for biking or hiking. By goedde2 from Dunwoody, GA on 11/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, High-Quality Material and Stitching, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Backpacking, Biking, Hiking Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great product, very comfortable. Would have preferred black as color choice, but not a real issue. Stretchy aspect is great feature.
By Michael from Houston on 11/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These guys know how to put everything you need in one jacket. Zippers are sealed, pockets are easily accessible. Light but protective, with enough room to layer for warmth. Came with a loose draw string, but Sierra replaced it without argument. Haven't bought anything from Mountain Hardware that I wouldn't buy again.
Great Soft Shell Jacket for the money By Scubasnyder from PA on 11/16/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Drys Fast, Good Cut, Lightweight Cons: Orange collects dirt easy Best Uses: Daily Use, Fishing, Outdoor Activities Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been using this jacket for a few weeks, it works great! The material stretches which is nice and it had windstopper and is water resistant. I found it to be best as an outer layer, I got an XL and I wear a large so I can wear a layer or two underneath, if I just got the large there would not be much room for other layers. The best part of this jacket is that it dry's fast, If you hang it up it dries over night or if you are wearing it and it gets wet it dries quick.
Amazing Jacket, nice fit and quality! By Brian from Baltimore, MD on 11/16/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Outdoor Activities, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great jacket, and wonderful slim fit with a nice arm length for me to bike with. The length of the jacket is nice. I'd prefer it longer because I will bike with it but by no means is it to short.
My main reason for reviewing is the comments on the inside feel. It feels like a wool baselayer. Slightly, emphasis on slightly, itchy/rough feel that doesn't bother me, or make me want to scratch, it just doesn't feel like a babys butt. I care more about the fit and the overall breathability of this jacket.
