Very nice bag with excellent quality.
By TunneyLeeKingLaw from Columbus, OH on 09/16/2009 Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well constructed.
By Neil from Texas on 09/14/2009 Pros: Durable, High Quality, Slim Cons: Scratches or Wears Easily Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The leather has somewhat of a suede texture so I'm afraid that it will show wear/stains easily. Other than that, it's great for those wanting a slim wallet.
By Swiss Traveler from Dallas on 09/09/2009 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, High Quality Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical, Stylish, Traditional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Perfect 'weekend' bag that's easy to either 'carry-on' or throw in the trunk. Holds the perfect amount of toiletries and casual clothes for a couple of days away. Truly the softest leather bag I have ever owned.
Wallet fits in pocket, fills the bill By Mr. Three Times from Phoenix, AZ on 09/05/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed a date wallet. One that was slim to the point of nonexistent, for tighter-cut clothes and a night on the town. Pack this wallet with a driver's license, a credit card, and a couple 100's and you're in business. So slim, you'll forget it's there. In which case, your date may have to buy.
A bit damaged and yes, a bit pleather. By alive, aware and kicking from Bayville, Nuevo Jersey on 08/22/2009 Pros: Adequate Capacity, Secure Design, Well Organized Inside Cons: Heavy looking handlle, Not lightweight at all, Ramo's return has arrived Best Uses: Daily Commuting Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a heavy duty briefcase and it's weight feels that way. Could probably handle a commuter's needs well. Not as small as I expected so it will hold a reasonable amount of stuff.
I purchased it for the rare business meeting I have where I need a lovely looking briefcase that will hold both papers and my small pc note book.
Unfortunately, I seem to have received the first reviewer's, Ramo from NYC's return, and there is a definte problem with the leather on the lower portion of the front. The leather is as stiff as can be and this looks as if someone rolled it a bit to get it in the plastic bag or the box. Stiff leather just can't take that and will and here has actual crack lines that can't just be polished out because they have broken through the finish and then down through the dye and left permanent creases.
I may order another one right now to avoid Ramo's re-return but I agree with the "pleather" reviewer: this isn't $500 briefcase leather and it's pretty obvious. The trim on the flap for instance should have been dyed in the same lot but wasn't so it's a bit on the pink side rather than the mahogany that was obviously intended and it is noticeably off. That could be fixed with polish over time. And this sort of stiff leather does need polish and care before you walk out the door. One personal dislike is the heavy looking handle that makes it a bit more masculine that I would like and yet the case overall is too small for the average guy.
I will give it another go because I want a mahogany colored briefcase and this is that - and on the dark side. And Sierra is nice enough not to ask for those $500 because then I would just return it.

Beautiful leather but way too small By Veronica Mae from St. Paul, MN on 08/13/2009 Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Beautiful leather but so tiny that you can't fit even a few credit cards. I returned it. I really don't know how a wallet this small would be used by anyone.
