Perfect for our screened porch By Savan from St. Louis on 08/04/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Beautiful Material, Great Color, Quality Construction Cons: Difficult To Hang, Poor hanging brackets Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Attractive, good quality blinds. But the metal used in the hangers bends too easily although one had to be bent to accommodate the back of the header. Once up we couldn't be more pleased.
Versailles wood cafe curtain rod/natural By Rancher from North Dakota badlands on 06/26/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy To Install, Functional, Versatile Best Uses: Bedroom, Heavy Curtains, Large Windows, Living Room Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Quality product for a great price. Take note that the "Natural" color also means the wood is unfinished. Putting a varnish on helps the tab top curtains slide easier.
Attractive and functional By Natural Blond from Northern Michigan on 06/23/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Install Best Uses: Bedroom, Outside, Small Rooms Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: We put these in the bedrooms and TV room, otherwise we don't have any window treatments in the house. They look great with our rustic log decor. We bought about seven of these, only complaint is that there must have been three different versions of hardware sets.
JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR!! By SKEETER from BRUNSWICK, ME on 06/19/2009 Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: ATTRACTIVE, EASY TO INSTALL
By Double 00 from Southwest, Co on 06/15/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Install Best Uses: Bedroom, Large Rooms, Small Rooms Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice looking and easy to use shade, the only thing to be aware of is that they are a bit see through. I am having a material put on the back to solve this and will still spend far less than most window coverings. Good shade, Great price.
By shopper from Kentucky on 06/13/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The heads of the screws strip easily. It was worth the cost. They look nice.
Look great, but what a load of trouble! By koreamom from Evanston, IL on 06/11/2009 Best Uses: Bedroom, Living Room, Privacy, Sliding Glass Doors Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Okay, I took out some overgrown yews in the front of my house and found myself in need of something simple to provide the privacy I was suddenly lacking. These blinds seemed like just the thing, but would need trimming. "No problem!" I thought, since the ad claimed that they trimmed easily with a fine tooth saw. When they arrived, I opened them up, coping saw at the ready---but there are two iron bars intrinsic to the construction. A friend offered to trim them for me, and he had to BUILD A TABLE to clamp them to in order to cut through the iron and to cut the slats evenly. The spring- loaded clamps were tough to figure out, even with the help of the inadequate diagrams, and some of them needed significant encouragement to work.
All this said they do look great--but what a case of blatantly false advertising! How could they EVER have suggested you could trim these to fit with a fine-tooth saw????
By Zhara from Gleann Abhann on 06/03/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy to use, Functional, Handsome, Protects fabric Describe Yourself: Budget Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These handsome rings may not rule them all, but do indeed help suspend fabric in mid-air, as if by magic. Easy to use, much safer for fabric and fingers than those old-fashioned spike hooks, and the matte brassy color is muted and goes well with the jewel-tone colors of our decor. Portable, these rings have gone on the road with me to help decorate at festivals and events calling for quick set-up and take-down. Swivel feature rotates both clockwise AND counterclockwise, making for one versatile textile hanger!
