By Zukes Dad from Steamboat Springs, CO on 08/19/2009 Pros: Consistent in appearance Describe Yourself: Professional Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Consistent quality, proportions are online and materials seem to be good. Only time will tell the durability story.
By John the upstate retired carpenter from Upstate New York on 07/15/2009 Pros: Good quality tying, Looks Realistic Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: As with all dry and wet flys they are difficult to handle because they are so tiny and the tippet line is so fine they are hard to handle. Once on the line though they withstand the stress of being cast over and over as well as hopefully attracting trout. These nymphs are well made and hold up well under these conditions. The biggest difficulty for me is handling and tying fine tippet line to the tiny hooks but this is not any criticisn of the nymph but rather my eyesight.

By curious neuropsychologist from boulder colorado on 05/31/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: great way to fill in your essentials and have time to work on your special ties. Or, in my case, have a model from which to learn and enough to experiement with. i'd gotten grey which isn't really the only color for around here so i'll be tinting some with a little olive felt tip and also some brown. simply irresistible given the price and the quality is second to none.
By Russell from Pitts, PA on 05/25/2009 Best Uses: Deep Water, Salt Water Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nicely tied large (quarter size) crab fly. Heavy and thickly dressed. Mottled brown/off white appearance with white legs tipped red. Could be modified with a pen to add variety. I trimmed several down in size for flats use.
Two out of my dozen had rubber legs askew from the pattern. Good price on a dozen, plan to use scissors to vary your presentation.
By Weekender from Issaquah, Wa on 05/18/2009 Pros: Looks Realistic, Strong Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this nymph with a strike indicator to catch 20 to 24 inch rainbows in a crystal clear creek. These trout have had everything thrown at them so I had no preconceived notions on what would work...
These did!
