By alpineclimb from Gold Country, CA on 03/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very well-made and functional jacket for the price. Not "ultralight", and not "heavy duty", just right for moderate conditions. I'm 5'11", 170 lbs, and found the size large to be the best fit (slightly roomy in girth, but good in both body and sleeve length). The medium would likely fit best for someone 5'9" and under, and less than 160 lbs. I prefer a hat to a hood under most conditions, so this jacket fills that niche nicely.
