Nice looking but really small! By PRClimber from San Juan, PR on 05/27/2009 Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I use this shoe for indoor climbing and its really nice, takes a little bit to get used to the heel fit. Great sticky sole but really small! I usally wear a womans 10 and had to order them a 12 (men's size), the same happened to my sister who also bought them.

By openwater from Madison, WI on 05/22/2009 Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Mad Rocks are decent shoes. They are not Scarpa by any means, but they also don't carry that price tag. The rubber is surprisingly sticky, and the heal is funny looking but effective. I wore through the toes really quick doing slab indoors and some bouldering, but for the price I would say they are worth picking up. Comfortable shoes that break in well. I wear a 10.5 street and a 10 in madrocks for a performance fit.

By Aaron from 29 Palms, CA on 04/28/2009 Pros: Rugged, Weather Resistant Best Uses: Bouldering, Indoor Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: good shoe just a little too narrow.
By Szobonya from Boise, ID on 04/02/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Many of the negative reviews for this shoe come from sizing. It is true that you should get a full size larger than your street shoes. I am fortunate in that I live in Boise, so I was able to try these on in the store. I normally wear a ten and walked out with an eleven. I have only used these indoor, but I'm itching to go out and use them on the real stuff.

By The Hatter from New York, NY on 02/25/2009 Describe Yourself: Avid Climber Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: If you are interested in these shoes, you should know a few things about them. These are a very aggressive designed shoe with a HIGH camber. This means that you will want to get a larger size than you normally would with a climbing shoe. The toe and heel design is typical to MadRock shoes, which may or may not work for you. These shoes were designed for very difficult bouldering routes, or mostly over hanging routes. These shoes were not designed to be used on multipitch routes of for casual use. The toe and heel grip is fantastic, and add to the life of the shoe. This is a good price for this shoe, but it is not for everyone.
