I was going to use this for a Boy Scout Troop. When taking the product out of the box, parts fell off the lantern. The light output was poor considering it would be used to light an area.

Comments:
i was pleased with this lantern when i received it. it has more led lights than the common lanterns i found on other internet sites. however, the screw on the bottom battery cover is too short and as a result you can't easily unscrew it. the screw just goes round and round without moving anywhere. plus the bottom of the lamp comes off too easily, especially when hanging it on my backpack and it swinging around. annoying but it is easy to put back though.

Premierlight LED Aluminum Flashlight

POOR QUALITY
By k-katie from salinas, ca on 05/22/2008
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I am returning the product as the light doesn't seem very strong or effective, and the screw on cap has some mucky corroded stuff on the threads that make it difficult to open or close. Disappointing, especially for the price.

Comments:
Here in electricity-challenged South Florida, one can never have too many flashlights---especially in storm season---but this is the best. I ordered two and will order more for gifts and another for myself. Excellent quality; compact for carrying in the glove box of the car, keeping at bedside and other locations throughout the house---even carried it to a restaurant notorious for inadequate light (I hate having to have the menu read to me!)
