By Bear Hunter from Virginia on 01/06/2008 Pros: amplifies sounds well, Improves Performance, Works Well Cons: Not as good as you'd thin Best Uses: Big Game Hunting Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Used it to listen to distant hounds while bear hunting. It works well for that purpose. However, it amplifies close up sounds much better than distant ones. It helps with hearing the houds, but makes your footsteps sound like an avalanche.
