Have recommended to all my friends By Boulder from San Diego, California on 09/22/2009 Pros: Durable, Easy To Use, Lightweight, This improved my scores m, Versatile Best Uses: Tournament Play, Weekend Rounds Describe Yourself: Golf Enthusiast Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the best golf improvement tool ever. You never need to guess about club selection ever again. The only slightly negtive thing is it's a little hard to hold steady and get a read on the pin if there's no wind. If the flag is moving--no problem or you wait until the group in front of you is on the green so your focus target is larger.
By Strada from Seattle on 08/27/2009 Best Uses: Hiking/Backpacking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a compact and light tripod for traveling and hiking. This does not come with a case and I used a sleeping pad bag to store it and strapped to my backpack. The legs are sturdy and gives slightly with heavier camera or spotting scope, but great for lightweight cameras and binoculars or scope. With the legs fully extended and spread out, the extended height is approximately 44 inches. This limits it's use as a monopod.

By Nikon fan! from Northern Arizona on 08/02/2009 Best Uses: Hiking/Backpacking, Low Visibility, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Even with my 28-200 heavy lens, this compact tripod can handle it without tipping or drooping. It goes down to like a 16" height which I didn't expect and am quite glad, makes it even more handy & useful for my nature & travel pics.
good value and decent quality By micron26 from Long Island, NY on 07/28/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Exactly what I expected, and an excellent value given the inexpensive price. Not a professional model by any means, but more than adequate for my casual needs. Not sturdy enough for more demanding applications, nor capable of supporting a scope/camera in excess of 2.5-3 lbs.

Light and stable, love it! By Envirgoddess from Nashville, TN on 06/30/2009 Pros: Compact, Light weight, Strong Construction Best Uses: Hiking/Backpacking, Photography Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After much searching for a light weight, cost effective tripod, I purchased two, one for my husband and myself.
One of our favorite hobbies is photography. I have a Nikon D40X and he has a Nikon D80. Although a little shorter than we like, it is workable. For the size, they are extremely sturdy and stable. We used some of our larger lenses and did not have any problems with the tripods tipping or sagging. As a matter of fact, I used mine as a walking stick during a hike over steep and uneven surfaces, at times putting my full weight on the tripod. The legs did not slip or creep. Would not recommend this practice, but it is worth mentioning.
