attractive, comfortable, rigid footbed By Rachel from Richmond, CA on 10/31/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I normally wear Dansko Sport clogs (mostly for work where I am constantly on my feet). These shearling lined clogs looked so cozy I had to give them a try. Wow! VERY comfortable and good looking shoe. I consider it a plus that the footbed is molded with good arch support and even more rigid than Dansko - they flex minimally at the forefoot - probably great shoe for folks with plantar faciitis or foot/toe fractures
By Pedi Nurse from Rhode Island on 10/29/2009 Pros: Breathes Well, Comfortable, Comfortable the first day, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: good support and comfortable.A little loose, oK with thick socks . I ordered 1/2 size down for my 2nd pair. Definately worth every penny!
By Bobbie from Utah on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Well Personally I love these clogs,I bought them way last summer and tucked them away, got them out today as we got snow! Walked to work in them and I could not believe how comfy they are. I have ALOT of shoes, and about four pairs of wool lined boots, these are just right! [...] I would get another pair. I got my regular size and with socks they're just right. You could wear them without socks if you need more room I do that often too.
By Adventure chick from CO on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got a half size larger and fit perfectly. I wear them in bare feet and they keep my feet so warm! So stylish and comfy! I haven't worn them in the wet snow, and probably wont due to material. Can't say they are waterproof, but they are perfect for cold weather!
By K from Colorado on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Sizing: Feels half size too small Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The shoes were too small (about 1/2 a size) and weren't cute enough for me to exchange them. On the not-so-stylish side, I thought.
By casual in colorado from fort collins, co on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: these are best reserved for cold days. i have a pair of uggs that i have worn for about 7 years and these don't seem to breathe as well. i do like the tie on the front because it allows for a tighter fit. there is much more heel and foot stability in ulus vs. uggs.
By snow bunny from Massachusetts on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Snow Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It was easy to order, they came in a timely fashion. These boots are fabulous, I love them. I own other Ulu boots, they are true to size and super comfortable. I've owned another pair of Ulu boots for over 5 years and they are still going strong, so I knew I could rely on this brand for a superior boot! I got exactly what I wanted and expected. Thanks I'll be ordering again soon!
By Chatterbox from In the Middle of PA on 10/27/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels true to size Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Since these arrived, I've worn nothing else. They're extremely comfortable, and now, in the fall, almost a little TOO warm, so I'm confident they'll be great in the winter, and that's what I was after.
Here's what I want to know: Whose brilliant idea was it to discontinue/stop making/stop selling these? Just when I find them, and would happily stock up with another couple pairs, they're GONE! Not a pair left, anywhere! This is terrible! I think somebody oughta do something about it!
By amy s from SLC, UT on 10/26/2009 Pros: Attractive, Comfortable, well-made Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have been wanting a pair of shoes/boots from Ulu for a long time & the reviews have been very inconsistent about their sizing so I have been hesitant to make a purchase.
These shoes run at least a 1/2 size too large, which is SO disappointing! Also, while wearing them, with each step they tend to pull down my socks. I can't return them now (since I've worn them outdoors) & am undecided about ordering a smaller size. I originally bought a size 7 & I am a true size 7 in most Women's shoes.
The shoes are exactly what I was looking for-to wear working at a ski resort: warm, supportive, comfy, durable, well-made.
