Great for snowshoveling or winter sports. They have a real sheepskin lining and foot liner. I got the lavender color, and they are cute. They may be a little bulky for driving, though. They are very much like sorels in size ofthe sole.
By snowboard betty from Denver, CO on 11/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I haven't had a chance to wear outside yet, but have been wearing them around the house and they are truly cozy. They are just the right height to keep the snow off your jeans. I like the details of the stitching and flowers/leaves on the nubuck leather.

By Jan the Northeastener from Franklin, Ma on 11/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Versatile Cons: Had to order sized down Best Uses: Casual Wear, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Living in New England it is difficult to find something warm for your feet that you do not feel as though you have to change out of as soon as you get to work.
By Outdoor MN Gal from Bemidji, MN on 11/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Waterproof Cons: Difficult Entry & Exit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These boots are very light and seem to be quite warm. They claim they are waterproof which I have not tested yet. I bought them to wear to work up in Northern MN where our temps average below zero. So, not sure yet if they will do the job. One negative is that my arches are very high and the top of my foot hit on the top of the inside of the boot. HOwever, I anticipate the lining will pack down after a bit and this won't be an issue. It's hard to find an attractive boot which withstands MN winters, but this might be the one!
just what I was looking for By Kelly from Pittsburgh, PA on 11/13/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Best Uses: Casual Wear, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort Driven Sizing: Feels half size too big Width: Feels true to width Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I just received the shoes last week. At first I thought they were a little big, but they're still comfortable and warm. You can remove the shearling lining if you don't want your feet to be quite so warm, but so far they've been ok for me even in my toasty office. The base is quite stiff, but I think it will work well in the wet snowy weather approaching. I was looking for a simple and comfortable black shoe to wear to work through the slush and snow in the winter, and this seems to work perfectly.
By Mtns711 from Denver, CO on 11/12/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Good Traction, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: After Skiing/Snowboarding, Cold Weather, Slippery Terrain, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are very warm and stylish. Great with jeans, but I can still get away with wearing to work. I look forward to wearing them more once it snows!
By Jaka from San Francisco, CA on 11/11/2009 Pros: Arch comfort, Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Cold Weather, Snow, Wet Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am used to waterproofing Suede, so no problem there. The construction is good even tho made in China. I live in a rain climate, only visit really cold climates. I think these will be warm and cozy in the house, good for winter and travel (warm feet), they do feel good barefeet. Any shoes made in China are unpredictable for sizing, so try different sizes. I read the warnings about ICE, so I will use caution if I am in that climate. The soles look good but the CROW boots are the really heavy duty Ice/Snow Traction boots. I wish they weren't out of the tall boots!
