I had to learn to be carful to get the lid sealled correctly but it has worked great. The evening the pack arrived I cleaned the bladder according to the instructions. The next day I wore it on an extended wilderness search and rescue operation. WIth long rough hikes. Worked great. We found the lost man, too. I have also worn it for 4 days of urban bike patrols. Enough insulation to keep the water cool in 90 + degree days. And I've only had the pack 10 days.
