Nice roomy-but-not-too-big pack By Dog Mom from Next to Texas on 06/02/2008 Pros: Good padding, Large capacity, Very adjustable Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A well-done pack. I use it for walks with the dog to the local farmer's market - the pack holds house keys, phone, $$, and small purchases with lots of room to spare, while the two-bottle holders carry water for the dog, coffee for me. I use a tall stainless steel car mug in one of the holders as a replacement for the plastic water bottle, and it fits great. Waist strap is too long - my only complaint.
I would buy this product again By AfterShock from Northeastern Oklahoma on 05/31/2008 Pros: Large capacity, Very adjustable Best Uses: Day trip, Hiking, Theme park Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My wife and I used these during our vacation and were pleased with them. Besides the keys, tickets, money, meds, food, etc that we carried we were even able to get the digital camera (still in its padded case) into the fanny pack. Admittedly, it was a stretch and as a result I did have one of the pull tabs come off of one of the zippers so I would not recommend that you try that. It was easily repaired by running a peice of cord through the "head" of the zipper. The pack comes with two polycarbon drinking bottles that we used the first day and decided to replace with disposable water bottles the next time we used the packs. The polycarbon bottles are great but when they're empty your stuck with them. The fanny packs have elastic cords that loop over the bottles when they are placed in the bottle holsters and these held the disposable water bottles equally well. When the holsters were not being used for water bottles they provided additional storage for other items such as my sunglasses case. The pack straps were easy enough to adjust. The problem I had was what to do with the excess strap material. One side of the strap had an elastic band that helped hold the extra material out of the way but the other side didn't. Why not both sides? This was, however, just a minor annoyance. The pack has just enough pockets/compartments to help you keep your items sorted out. I was pleased with its performance and would recommend this product.
