By 53x12t from PA on 07/25/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Bring a good wading staff-- you'll need it. You get no grip at all on the rocks.
By fathead from boulder, co on 07/01/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Easy to Paddle, Good Maneuverability, Stable Best Uses: Day Trips, Flat Waters, Mild rivers Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Boat is nice, it is much wider than the specs show, it is also more than 52 pounds, frame is probably steel, not aluminum. You'll need an anchor and frame for the rear, not sure why this boat was without. No major complaints, seems like a solid product.
By Zugbug from Boise on 06/30/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easy Entry & Exit, Easy to Paddle, Good Maneuverability, Stable Best Uses: Day Trips, Flat Waters Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Just bought this boat a couple of weeks ago. It rocks. I've been a die-hard float tuber for years and now that I have this I don't think you could get me back in a tube. I liked it so much I had my dad buy a simimlar one. Rock on!
By Bruce from Kitimat, BC on 05/29/2008 Cons: Difficult To Use, Leaks, Poor Construction Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Seams on bladders split easily under normal use. Had this thing on the lake only three times before it became unusable. Bladders slide all over in fabric, so you have to hunt 4 the air locks. Difficult and time consuming to line everything up just right during assembly. Bladders feel cheap. Sits so high out of the water, catch and release is difficult.

By guy in maine from Portland, ME on 03/28/2008 Best Uses: Saltwater Fishing Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These are great to get you to the stream but once there you are better off bare foot. As others have complained the rubber lugs defeat the felt and studs and though they will preserve the bottom of your drift boat they are horrible to wade in anything but sandy bottom stream beds. I will however say that they are adequate when fishing saltwater i.e. ledges and rocks. They require constant attention to placement of feat ensuring that the balls of your feet (where the felt and studs are) make contact with any possibly slippery surfaces. I have since modified mine by cutting about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch off of the rubber lugs and have found that this improves the boot immensely.
By Fish tremble! from Denver on 03/21/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy To Maintain, Easy To Use, Functional Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Sits high in water, very manueverable, have had one for 6 years, never an issue with leaks. Has 3 bladders, takes a few min. to set up. I usually leave it inflated in the summer time and throw it in the back of my suburban. Looking to buy a new one this year for the wife!
By Alaska Fisherwoman from Alaska on 03/11/2008 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The felt came apart on my first trip, but I needed them, so I drove screws through them to hold them together. That lasted about three more trips. It's a shame b/c they are comfortable, but a big waste of money.
By fisher from Hazard, Ky on 03/04/2008 Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: They are perfect for keeping my hands free to fish, while still allowing me to postion my pontoon boat for the perfect cast.
