By Fishboy from Shingletown, CA on 10/17/2007 Pros: Sits high on the water Cons: Bladders and valves leak, Poor Construction Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: When I first bought this, I liked the way it sat high on the water. After a couple of uses, I found myself out in cold water, hearing a leak. Upon returning it to their main office in Stockton, they provided replacement bladders, but no later than another month, another leak occurred. Upon calling the owner and his wife again, they declined to repair or fix. [...]
By Matt (fly fishing) from Idaho on 10/17/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Easily, Durable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The boots are comfortable and great for hiking around. The only complaint i have is that need more felt. The rubber soles contact the rocks more than anything else, so you end up slipping a lot when your out in the river. The cleats work ok, but again the rubber sole contacts most surfaces first.
My buddy with felt shoes was able to walk up this rock and i kept sliding down it.
But for hiking and casual getting around they are great. The cleats do help out, but they need more felt.
3 in 1 outsole grips poorly By Wishing I was fly fishing from Denver on 10/03/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Durable Describe Yourself: Casual Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The 3-in-1 outsole grips poorly. The felt (what little there is) and the studs sit lower than the rubber lugs, so they never really touch the ground. Once the rubber lugs become wet they are very slippery. You're better off with an all felt wading shoe.

By I am a Flyfisherman from New Mexico on 08/28/2007 Describe Yourself: Avid Fisher Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These were very comfortable....until I got in the water and realized I would have been better off wearing tennis shoes. Do not buy these if you plan on using them as...well wading boots.
