By Sam! from Bloomington, IN on 05/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Good Cut, Warm Cons: Lining does not zip out Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very clean cut. Good warm weight for late fall/late winter/early spring. Dressy enough for going out, very comfy. Two interior pockets - one cell phone sized on right, one wallet sized on left. Front exterior pockets will likely just keep your hands warm - not good for storing stuff.

By joveco from harrisburg pa on 04/09/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Cool windy weather Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: well made and more substantial than an ordinary wind shell so a little heavier too.
By NativeNYer from New York, NY on 03/20/2009 Cons: Inner zipper quality Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking to break-out of the long length trench coat when wearing a suit or blazer. This is a very stylish coat that works great over a blazer or sweater, and even a suit. I like it so much I bought a second coat for when the first eventually wears out.
The sleeves feel just a little long, but it's not really noticeable when you wear gloves.
By Stevie from West Covina, CA on 03/09/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Durable, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Describe Yourself: Trendy/Stylish Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A fairly nice coat at a reasonable price. I usually wear Ralph Laurance, this is my first Marc New York coat and I like it.
Comfortable midweight jacket By Jerry from Great Neck, NY on 03/07/2009 Cons: Across the shouldres, Not Enough Pockets Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I had been looking for a useful mid-weight jacket and this satisfies that need
Didn't like the off color stitching By Diddly from Chicago on 03/04/2009 Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Even though the text clearly stated that the stitching was a contrasting color, I couldn't appreciate the extreme contrast until I received it. Nothing wrong with the jacket, just a personal preference issue. By the way, it seems that the Golden Bear line runs a little small/tight relative to other brands. If in doubt, order up.
