By Jan the comforter maven from westford, ma on 11/24/2008 Best Uses: Spring/Fall, Winter Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: OK, so I got one of these for myself and my husband about six years ago. It was wonderful, the german/austrian comforter I had been seeking for thirty years (without going back to Austria). I had bought other comforters (at least five) over the years, and they never met my needs for warmth! After I got the first one, I had to have more, so I ordered two more for my daughters. I recommended them to friends who wanted to stay warm. I now sleep on a sunporch that reaches around 35 in the coldest days of winter. The comforter still does the trick! I love this comforter. Buy it!!! And thank you for carrying such a great product!!!

The best bedding investment we ever made By Always Chilly from Carmel, California on 04/21/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Good Insulation, Just right warmth, year round use Best Uses: Spring/Fall, Summer, Winter Describe Yourself: Bargain Hunter, High-End Shopper, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have purchased less expensive down comforters that lose their uumph, have cold spots, and end up being a waste of $. I purchased my first Black Forest comforter several years ago. This is lightweight while being very warm. It feels like sleeping under a cloud. We just purchased one for our son about to move out on his own. It should last him for years. I have total confidence in this comforter brand- "heirloom" super quality.
