By Sun-Loving Mom from Charleston, SC on 06/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight, Protects Skin, Stylish Best Uses: Anything in the Sun, Boating Describe Yourself: Casual Athlete Chest Size: Feels true to size Sizing: Feels half size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I was looking for a long sleeve, but lightweight SPF 50 shirt for my 2 yr old daughter and found everything for girls to be very short-sleeved... but this item is perfect for us. She can wear it anywhere - in or out of the water - it doesn't make her too hot (which in SC is really important) - and it matches everything and keeps her safe from the sun. It saves me the time and hassle of running after her trying to lather her arms and neck with sunblock!
I think it might run a bit small or perhaps it is supposed to fit REALLY snug, because she fits the 4T and she's just barely over 2. She still has a little room to grow into it, but I'd suggest considering a size up.
Fits perfect, Looks great By Kate from Monterey Bay Area on 06/09/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Put On And Take Off Describe Yourself: Casual Athlete Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This shirt looks and feels great. I thought it was going to be thicker than it is which was a plus for me. It's more like a rash guard than a wet suit. It looks fantastic with the big O'Neill logo. Very Stretchy, I wear a woman's medium and I bought a small, it fits perfect. Looks like I spent a lot more money than I did, Love it....
Good value, runs true to size By Active Mom from Northern Virginia on 06/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Easy To Put On And Off Describe Yourself: Casual User Chest Size: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this rash guard to use at the pool with my kids so I wouldn't end up with a sunburned back. Some of the reviews said it ran very small, so I ordered one size up. The fit seemed right until I got it wet, then I wish I would have ordered my usual size. A rash guard is supposed to have a snug fit so it stays in place better when wet. Also, the rash guard is a little longer than I had expected, maybe because it's designed to be worn with low-slung board shorts instead of over a swim suit. Overall, though, it's quite comfortable and does the job of keeping me protected from the sun. It was a good value for the price.

It's a great solution for sun protection at the beach or pool.

I ordered my regular size and would have been more comfortable had I ordered up a size. Otherwise, it's a great shirt. Very comfortable, dries quickly.
sun protection for my daughter By Cowgirl from Plano, Tx on 05/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight, Protects Skin, Stylish Describe Yourself: Enthusiast Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This rash guard that i bought for my daughter is very comfortable and saves us sunscreening her shoulders and arms. It is very soft and there have been no complaints from my 7 year old. She would rather wear it than put on more sunscreen.
By LMC from Meridian, ID on 05/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Dries Quickly, Lightweight, Protects Skin, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual Athlete Chest Size: Feels true to size Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: My daughter loves this rashguard. She uses it when we go boating, when she's swimming in the pool, or just running through the sprinklers outside. Of course she loves not having to lather up in sunscreen just to be outside! Great quality, will definitely last a season or two.

By Swimming in May in VT from Middlebury, VT on 05/21/2009 Describe Yourself: Beginner Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: After reading some reviews of how hard this suit is to get on, I was a bit nervous, also a bit worried that it might not be warm enough. Unjustified concern; if you can put on pantyhose, you can slip into this, and it fits so well, the wrists and ankles seal beautifully. With the hood, I think it is warmer than a thicker suit without a hood and it is cute and stylish to boot. Highly recommend.
By Rusty57 from So. Cal on 05/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Dries Quickly, Durable, Easy To Put On And Off, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual User Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I ordered an XL which says it should fit sz. 14-16. I currently border on a 12/14 and it's a little snug. But, I know this will do the trick of keeping the beating sun rays off of my back during my regular swim workouts. I live in the very hot Santa Clarita Valley and I would never be able to swim for the entire summer (which is well underway NOW) without risk of damage to my skin. So, am very pleased that I could get O'Neill quality at such an affordable price. [...] I'm an avid online shopper and know when I've found a quality website. STP is now high on my list.
