By WisconsinWife from Madison, WI on 10/08/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Versatile Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a very simple skirt, modest and basic. It is cut a wee bit more narrow in the hips than I usually like, but I am keeping it because I think it looks nice on me. If you are very curvy, I think this would not fit you well.
By Bubbles from Studio City, CA on 10/05/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Good in Paris in wind, Travel Describe Yourself: Classic, I have more fun than most Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I feel way happy in this coat...it's never inappropriate and I love the unusual color.
By gas hound from seattle on 10/05/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, High Quality Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office, Travel Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: very high quality shirt all cotton but wrinkle free and half off
By 3 bcs and me from vermont on 10/03/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Easy To Change, Easy To Clean, Soft Best Uses: Cool Climate, Everyday Bedding Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Would give five stars but first duvet came with an incomplete seam. Returned it, and second duvet is fine. Barely landed the duvet on the bed and the girls were curled up on top. The cover's weave is tight and sturdy. A brief water test shows water beading on top of the membrane side. I wouldn't expect this to pass a chew test nor would I hesitate to clean fluid spills immediately but within those parameters it should do well.
By cj from mundelein, il on 10/03/2008 Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Order a size smaller than you need.
By Dry Fly from South Bay, CA on 10/01/2008 Comments: Good shirt but long if you do not intend to tuck it in. "Worn-in" does look a little shabby so this probably isn't great for the office. I guess would recommend this to a tall (> 6'3"), casual, friend
By Snacktime from Decatur, GA on 09/30/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Comments: The print is really crisp with a batik look. I feel dressed up in it.
By Katie from upstate NY on 09/28/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stylish, Warm Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I tried the Small but had to return it because I was swimming in it. It's a very nice sweater -- thick, warm, good-looking. But huge. If an XS had been available, I'd have tried that.
By Labrador Lover from Florence, Oregon on 09/28/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical, Trendy Chest Size: Feels true to size Length: Feels true to length Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is one beautiful coat! The fabric is so soft and touchable, comfortable, and comforting. I normally take an XL, which I ordered in this coat. It's roomy enough to wear over a sweater. And in mine, the hood is made of the same weight material as the coat (another reviewer had a different experience), so it should be great in cold winds. This coat makes me look forward to winter! All in all, a great coat at a great price. Thanks Sierra!
Already like an old friend.... By Labrador Lover from Florence, Oregon on 09/27/2008 Pros: Attractive Design, Good Cut, Lightweight, Versatile, Warm Best Uses: Bad Weather, Daily Use, Going Out Describe Yourself: Casual Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I've only had this coat a couple of weeks and it's already a favorite. I love the faux "distressed leather" look, VERY unusual. The pastel plaid lining adds warmth and style. It's a real attention getter; I've received so many compliments on it. It seems to be beautifully made, which is great since I hope to be wearing it for years. Since it's Orvis, I probably can.
