FieldLine

FieldLine

Outdoor adventures don't always go smoothly, and Fieldline builds its packs accordingly. Fieldline packs are so tough and durable that one of them actually survived a canoe spill that was discovered frozen in the river twelve years later with every thing inside still intact. Built by outdoorsmen, for outdoorsmen, Fieldline incorporates technologies like Quiet-Cloth® and Scent-Lok® that help you get the drop on elusive trophies. The Fieldline Buddy-Lok® system makes for quick and easy organization, allowing accessories to be quickly attached to packs. Even camp furniture from Fieldline is lightweight, portable, comfortable to use and comfortable to carry. When you take the years of Fieldline experience on the trail, you're always prepared for the adventure that lies ahead.

Fieldline Carbon Peak Combo Pack II

Don't use as a fanny pack
By rockin_moose from Idaho on 02/16/2009
Pros:
Good padding
Cons:
Not enough straps, Weak Seams
Best Uses:
Day trip
Describe Yourself:
Casual Adventurer
What Is Your Gear Style:
Minimalist
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Tried to use the bottom portion as a fanny pack. The straps were essentially non-existent - so the pack flopped around like crazy. Worthless as a fanny pack, but not bad if you want to use the whole deal for a day trip.

Chest pack works well for skiing
By rndmkos from Southern Oregon, USA on 01/17/2009
Pros:
Easy to use, Lots of storage, Not too bulky
Cons:
No color selection
Best Uses:
Cold Climate, Snow skiing
Bottom Line:

Comments:
I am not a hunter, but a sports enthusiast and I like using a front pack rather than a back pack to store items such as cash, iPod, cellphone chapstick, mountain maps and so on. They are easy to access and kept warm and dry. What a terrific deal and the service was righ on! Thanks.

By JCVerified Reviewer from Germantown, MD on 01/07/2009
Cons:
Difficult To Use
Best Uses:
Big Game Hunting
Describe Yourself:
Recreational Hunter
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Not as discribed. The pack is not configured for a large adult male. The wrap around straps didn't come anywhere near being long enough to connect from the back to the front.

This was so small it wouldn't fit on my wife who is tiny. I got rid of shoulder harness and wore on my belt as it has belt loops.

I have used these packs for holding several boxes of 12 gauge ammo while duck hunting. The zippers are high quality and the fabric tough! I am buying them for future use also but the originals I bought 2 years ago are still like new. You can't go wrong with these items.
