By Tessa from Lexington, VA on 07/01/2009 Pros: Durable, Lightweight Best Uses: Casual Wear, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Good for shorter persons who need a good brim but cannot wear large-brimmed hats. Has sunguard protection.
By Kayaking Kate from Lewisberry PA on 07/01/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Breathable, Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I wear this hat while kayaking. I look dreadful in baseball caps, so this hat is a better look for me. It has a chin strap, so it won't blow off. The hat band is adjustable, so I can loosen or tighten as necessary. It has a nice size brim, which keeps the sun out of my eyes. It is very light weight, so it can roll up and fit it my backpack when not in use.
By Jules from Colorado on 07/01/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Packable Best Uses: Beach wear, Casual Wear, Hiking, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Outdoor Research makes good products. This hat is no exception, it is a beautiful colour and the lightweight design a plus for wear. The multiple rows of stitching on the generous brim did not keep it from flopping, it did not hold its shape. That was my only reason for return...
By KNKTRAVELS from Durango, Co on 06/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Camping, Travel Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very cute hat, wish I would have got the Tan color as well. Now its sold out.
By dave from san jose, ca on 06/30/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish, Warm Cons: Some teeny feather leak Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: A great jacket that's warm into the teens and below. The jacket is well stuffed with down - dense! The cut is more athletic and make you look sexy athletic versus other puffier down jackets (like the OR Megaplume). The cut is long enough to cover the front and mid butt very well - it wont ride up exposing your belly. It is a fantastic jacket that you won't regret to it have on the coldest of days. If you have a belly, I'd size up or get the boxier/warmer OR Megaplume.
By Dave from san jose, ca on 06/30/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Cons: Zipper is temperamental Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The jacket is better than my MH SubZero hooded jacket. While basically the same in insulation, this jacket is longer cut and covers your front much better. The material is nearly waterproof and of course totally windproof. The pockets are fleece lined and the hood fits helmets and is well insulated. The only negative is that the dual front zipper gets stuck sometimes and is a pain to use, but then again, EVERY jacket with dual zipper pulls are a pain...it's the nature of the beast I guess. All in all, I wouldn't trade it for anything and it'll keep you toasty in SUB ZERO temps!!
By JSEA from Columbia, MD on 06/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, SPF 30 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Pool Describe Yourself: Casual, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Overall, I like the hat. It's reversible so it provides extra flexibility. It's lightweight and comfortable. It's actually a little too lightweight for a windy day because it can get blown off -- no chin strap. Was great for sitting on the beach but not as much for walking with a breeze.
By Betsyfoxy from Bellingham WA on 06/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Commuting, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got this for my dad to keep the sun off him.
By IH from Boston, MA on 06/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Commuting, Travel Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's a reversible hat, but you'd have to take the tags off which would be fine if you don't write your number on the tag for when you will inevitably lose it. The rust color is not as bright as I expected, but nice. Love this hat for my purposes -- a fold up sun hat good for a variety of situations.
By dog lady from Cuyahoga Falls, OH on 06/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Casual, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like the hat, it's cute, and I do wear it, but it is warm - I tend to pull it off the minute I get in some shade.
