By Eliteist from Janesvill, CA on 11/16/2009 Pros: Warm, Waterproof, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Driving Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Motorcycle Riding Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I needed an overmit for my winter motorcycle gloves to break the cold wind. I ride in 20 degree weather and the wind chill really kicks the temp down at 60 mph. Waterproof, windproof, and toasy fingertips is what I was looking for and these overmits work perfectly. A bit bulky for signal controls, but with two pairs of gloves on they actually have pretty good dexterity. Love them.
Outdoor Research is great By S L Smith from Leadville Colorado on 11/15/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Snug Fit, Stylish, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Shoveling snow, Skiing, SNOWBOARDING Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These gloves are nice they could be a hint to small, but that means they will break in just fine. The mountain is not open yet but I think they will fight the elements of old man winter. Oh yea the mountain opens on 11-25-09 that will be the true test.
By sep from Missoula, MT on 11/15/2009 Pros: Adjustable, Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Cons: Hibiscis design too larg Describe Yourself: Casual, Comfort-oriented, Practical Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It's one of the few hats that fits my freakishly large female head.
Nice pants, but too stiff for my use By Suzy snowbird from Midwest on 11/14/2009 Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm sure these are a great pair of winter pants for skiing or snowboarding. They are quality material and well made. But, I needed a pair of warm pants for power walking in snowy upper Wisconsin. These seemed stiff and noisy, bulky. The pockets would be nice, I'm sure, for someone who downhill skis.

It seems like it will work well. The neck seems a little big to me. Maybe my neck is too skinny.
By Debbra, hiker and runner from Washington State on 11/13/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: As an underlayer for cold, Casual Wear, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have purchased 8 of these now. I just bought two more for Christmas gifts. Be advised, the small is a perfect fit for me, but I am 5'4" and weigh about 118 lbs. It is a shorter jacket and might not work for every body type. I think the newer jackets (which have the smaller flower isignia) are cut even a bit smaller...at least it feels that way. I wear mine for running, hiking, around town, under my hard shell for warmth for cold weather sports. I have a black, blue, and green one now...I've given my daughter two and she's about to get another. I love giving this jacket as a gift...people love it. I'm especially happy when I can purchase it for a great price!
By rcres from Seattle, WA on 11/13/2009 Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking/Running Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Nice fit, and warm. Haven't tested them below 40 degrees. Not the most attractive inside "grip" design, and like another reviewer said, the inside texture felt strange at first, but now feels comfortable.
