However I wouldn't pay full retail for it like I did for my other childs jacket.

By santa fe hiker from santa fe, nm on 11/02/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels too small Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is the perfect jacket for my needs. It is warm, wind and waterproof which will be great whether it's snowing, raining or blowing.
The only drawback for me is the fit. I'm large busted so I had to get the size up which is a little too big everywhere else. Otherwise I'm very happy with it.
By Lovemysled from Salem OR on 11/02/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Cross Country, Downhill, Snowmobile Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: There aren't very many snowsuits out there to purchase, so when I saw this one on Sierra Trading Post I thought I'd give it a try. First off, it is so cute! The belt is low, but not too low. I'm 5'7.5" and 135 lbs and the medium fits great. I don't think I can wear a heavy sweater underneath, it would be too tight in the shoulders then, but lightweight layers will be great. I haven't actually worn it out in the snow yet, but I'm hoping it will be warm enough because I hate to be cold.
I bought it to ride snowmobiles so I'll have some movement but not as much as say skiing. If I remember, I'll post a follow-up review after I've used it for it's purpose.
The only negative I have is that a couple of the closures are magnetic and they are easily opened. It's the flap at the top that is the worst, but it is secondary to a zipper so it shouldn't be that big of a deal.
By Zippy from Richmond, Va. on 11/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, High waist, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The description noted these ran small, so I ordered up one size from my usual Obermeyer 8. The 10 was way too big so I will reorder. The pockets are nice and the stretch fabric is soft. I like the high waist which keeps out cold and snow.
By Mom of three from Philadelphia, PA on 10/30/2009 Pros: comfortable, Durable, Stylish Best Uses: Casual Wear, Freezing Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought a similiar Obermeyer jacket for my son last year and it held up so well that I bought this one. I passed it on to a friend in perfect condition. My son is 10 years old, very thin and tall and the 10 fits him well. Sleeves could be a little longer, so it may not fit more than one season. Style is great: not over the top snowboard style, but just "cool" enough.

It's warm and not bulky. He loves the mini compass attachment and I love the "hidden" mitten holders.
