Bison Designs

Brian Kelleghan thinks outside the box. Not too many people would look at climbing gear and come up with pet collars, but the founder of Bison Designs did just that back in 1987. Using webbing for climbing, he began designing belts and pet collars from the weather-resistant, shock-tested material - perfect for the dog who suddenly lunges into action when a rabbit crosses his path. Staying true to their mountaineering roots, Bison Designs has also taken the carabiner and molded it into dozens of useful, whimsical shapes. It's impossible to say what Brian and Bison Designs will come up with next, but you can be sure they will carry on the tradition of finding practical new uses inspired by mountaineering equipment.

Comments:
This is exactly what it says it is, simple and functional. It lays flat, adjusts easily, and keeps my pants from sagging. What more could I ask for? The solid green color was slightly softer and less stiff than the brown and tan one.

Stylish
Cons:
Bulky, Cheap feeling material, Looks Cheap
Best Uses:

Comments:
I have other Bison Design belts from STP that are good quality and fit but this one is like a cheap piece of material with a buckle sewn on the end of it. Very disapointing and it will cost too much to send back so I am stuck with it. Probably will use it camping.

Bison Designs Web Belt - 25mm (For Men and Women)

Too soft and flexible
By Sore Foot MikeVerified Reviewer from Eugene, Oregon on 08/18/2009
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
Webbing is too flexible, allowing belt to twist and curl while wearing. Won't lie flat as will stiffer webbing belts. This is a problem under backpack waistbelt, also makes it hard to clip items to web belt, like tape measures or cell phone holders or small fishing belt pouches. I also found that this belt would not hold its adjusted length dependably, perhaps because I was using it under a backpack waistbelt.
