By ValereP from Regina, Canada on 10/21/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Soft, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Casual, Going Out, Work Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, High-end shopper, Practical, Stylish Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got this to wear with a pair of linen capri pants... great color goes with many other things in my closet. Nicely made and comfortable. Ordered the small size, which was smallest available...I am usually an extra small (2-4), so lots of room in it but design is such that it still fits smartly. Was a little longer than I would prefer, but works well with low-rise bottoms.
Make True Size 4 Clothing By Babette from D.C. on 10/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, But not a true size 4 -, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality Material Best Uses: Casual Wear, Formal Occasions, Office Describe Yourself: Business yet not frumpy, Comfort-oriented, Stylish Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: i am a business executive and need quality, stylish clothing. I am still in physically good shape and need clothes that fit appropriately. Small sizes are now being made TOO big. Unless you can now supply size 2 (which i am not a 2) then i can't buy your size 4 clothing. I have kept the blouse because i am wearing it under a jacket but i had wanted to wear it out with a skirt- i can't because it is just too big.
By Jan from Genesee Co., MI on 10/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Stylish, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Bargain Shopper, Career, Classic, Eclectic, Professional Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Very pleased with these trousers. They are well-made and have great lines. The fabric doesn't wrinkle and I have already dry-cleaned them (in the dryer) with great results. They are exactly what I was looking for. I like to wear classic trousers and blazers with colorful shirts to the office. They will get a lot of use and are a welcome addition to my wardrobe.
My new favorite wardrobe staple By Mall Avoiding Momma from Plano, TX on 10/19/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric, Versatile Best Uses: Special Occasions, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I work at a school and this is my new favorite dress for Parents' Night, Open House, etc. It stays unwrinkled all day and looks calm, cool, and collected. I am 5'9" and it hangs to my knees - THICKLY lined and doesn't get static-y or need a slip. Best dress ever to have - I could use it at the symphony or a wedding, even, with the right accessories. WELL worth the price.
By x54zeus from Portland OR on 10/16/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality Material Best Uses: Formal Occasions, Going Out, Office Describe Yourself: Comfort-oriented, Conservative, High-end shopper, Professional Chest Size: Feels too small Neck Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I think this brand runs a bit tight through bust...but I am busty...Or would have given 5 stars.
Lovely Jacket runs a bit small By x54zeus from Portland,OR on 10/16/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Versatile, Well Made Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out, Work Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is gorgeous, would hav given it 5 stars but I am busty and debated about ordering a 14 or 16. The 14 is a too small through the chest and the single hook lands right at bust line not below. Should have ordered the 16. If you are busty too, order up.
By Geohelper from Elko, NV on 10/11/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, Nice Color, Nice Fabric Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Comfort vs Style: Comfort Driven Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a classy skirt, beautifully made. It is just the right length too. I would have tried one size smaller if had been available, but the size I got will work fine now that I've moved over the button.
By orange cosmos from Alpine, TX on 10/10/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Durable, Good Cut, Versatile Best Uses: Daily Use, Going Out Describe Yourself: Classic Dresser Sizing: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Easy to dress it up. By Love Lafayette from Reston, VA on 10/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable, Flattering, High Quality, Lightweight Best Uses: Going Out, Office, Travel Describe Yourself: Conservative, High-end shopper, Stylish Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although I liked the blouse and wanted a brown color to complement various skirts and pants for work, I decided the jersey material would not stand up to repeated wear, so I returned it. I don't think Austin Reed Black Label is as high quality as Lafayette 148 or Magaschoni.
Beautiful material but... By Roadrunner from Phoenix on 10/07/2009 Pros: High Quality, Versatile Cons: Falls Too Low Below The Waist Best Uses: Special Occasions, Wear To Work Describe Yourself: Career, Classic Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The material and weave on this product are gorgeous and I really wanted to keep them because they would go with all sorts of dressy jackets, BUT, they were too large in the waist and the design has them below the natural waist. Not my style at all.
