It IS the helmet if you dont wear one By Nikoli from Sacramento, CA on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Great Peripheral Vision, Lightweight, Well Ventilated Best Uses: Half Pipe, Park, Skiing, Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: There ars no snaps for the snow liner. It will only stay by the use of velcro. Kind of a bummer but it will work.
By Grace from Chicago, IL on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Stylish Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great helmet for bicycle commuting. Comfortable, covers most of my noggin, and the winter insert is warm over the ears but breathable within the helmet which is really nice. My only complaint is that I measured my head and according to the size chart I should wear a medium, but it was not nearly a snug enough fit for protective equipment so I exchanged for a small. It seems that other people have though the opposite; that these helmets fit too small so maybe just bite the bullet and purchase 2 sizes and return one.
I really like this helmet!! By Crazy Lady On A bike from Sounth-Central PA on 10/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easily Adjustable, Good Fit With Liner and P, Lightweight, Protective, Stylish, Warm Liner, Well Ventilated Cons: Not headphone compatible Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I will be using this for winter biking. I was motivated to buy this helmet because I wanted something that looked feminine, was warm, easy to adjust, and would keep me cozy while I'm riding. At first, after reading some reviews, I was concerned that it would be the wrong size, even though I fall squarely within the "medium" category. Luckily it fits perfectly and I am happy. Looking forward to a happy, cold winter of riding and staying warm.

I like the liner for colder weather. It's vented well enough for cool/cold weather, but I would use my more conventional biking helmet in the hotter months. It's very well made. It's just what I was looking for.

Awesome casual/commuter helmet By Dan S from Minneapolis on 10/07/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Headphone Compatible, Lightweight, Protective, Stylish Cons: Bulky, Not Well Ventilated Best Uses: Commuting, Park, Riding around, Skiing, Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The fit system is much better than comparable skate-style helmets like the Bell Faction, there is an adjustable strap at the back in the Brentwood.
The visor is remove-able and can be replaced with the included pad.
All the local shop people say Bern is going to release a winter kit for this helmet?
By Eduardo from Fort Collins on 10/06/2009 Best Uses: Bathroom, Bedroom, Kitchen, Living Room Describe Yourself: Midrange Shopper Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: These magnify any breeze when used outdoors. It sounds like you are in a wind tunnel.
