Great Skiing & Snowboarding Helmet By Jamba from Boise, ID on 03/18/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Easily Adjustable, Great Peripheral Vision, Headphone Compatible, Protective, Stylish Best Uses: Downhill, Half Pipe, Park, Racing, Skiing, Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a great, comfortable, and stylish skiing & snowboarding helmet. Just take out the liner-earflaps, and it would work well for spring time as well. Marketed as a multi-sport helmet, however without ventilation would not work well for biking and skateboarding.
By Snowflake from Orangevale on 02/27/2008 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: So the Helmet came and Sierra Trading Post did not have a picture of the benie. Well the Helmet is Flat Black and the benie is white, kind of defets the purpose of getting a black helmet. I would recomend this helmet for spring skiing. Just a bad combination. Make sure there is a picture since some benies are knit others are just spandex like this one.
By DBski from DC on 01/02/2008 Pros: Comfortable, Protective Best Uses: Downhill, Skiing Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Decent helmut but I am not thrilled with it.
By Spineboy from UT on 12/30/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Protective, Stylish Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this helmet. Perfect for downhill skiing. Looks great and feels even better than it looks. Only downside is that it runs small. I originally purchased a large, but had to return it for an XL. Other than that - perfect!

It's very lightweight and if you have the liner in, it is very warm. Easy to adjust, too.

Comfortable, good for cold or spring ski By ericv from NY on 12/11/2007 Pros: Durable, Good Value, High Quality Cons: Missing storage bag. Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a nice kid's helmet, seems true to size. We like the goggle strap clip and the flexibility of removing ear flaps for warm weather skiing.
Buy it BEFORE you need it! By (former) Sorehead from WV, France, and Czech Republic on 12/07/2007 Pros: Comfortable, Great Peripheral Vision, Protective, Well Ventilated Cons: Difficult to Adjust, only fair instructions Best Uses: Downhill, Park, Skiing, Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: "I bet I could use a helmet right about..." SMACK!
This was the helmet I had been looking for; found it a bit late.
I'm keeping it strapped on all this season, though.
Popular in the Alps, where the style and function are equally noted.
And needed...some of them are a bit uncontrolled on the slopes over there and seem to have no qualms about running you down.
Get a helmet, and use it.
