A value as a spare helmet on sale, but not at full price.
By saskiaseattle from Seattle, WA on 08/20/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easily Adjustable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the helmet, look forward to winter uses. Came with extra padding (needs more without the winter insert if you're using it for biking). My only quibble is that the chin strap is so long that I'm not sure what to do with the excess!
By TSellers from Banff, Canada on 08/18/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Headphone Compatible, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I take a size 7 1/2 or Large. Based on the reviews I ordered the XL and it just fits me snug, so you definetly need to order one size larger than you normally take. Right out of the box the audio connector is inconsistent, you have to twist and turn the jack in the connector to get one of the channels to work. At the sale price I would recommend it with reservations, I would not recommend it for any price higher though.
By Joe from Arkansas on 08/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Easily Adjustable, Great Peripheral Vision, Lightweight, Protective, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

By Rec skiier from Pittsburgh, PA on 07/22/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Protective, Reasonably priced, Versatile Best Uses: Any winter sport Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The shape of the helmet felt a bit to round. It made the fit too tight and the look a bit odd.
By Disapppointed from Western Massachusetts on 07/14/2009 Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased this as a skiing helmet for my daughter. However, this helmet is not designed for winter use. Unlike the description, it does not come with an insulated ear-covering liner for winter sports. The box itself says "skate/bike" even though it is indeed the Bern Nina Helmet.
