Bern

Thanks to the protective headwear innovators at Bern, you no longer have to sacrifice style for safety. Bern multisport helmets combine great looking designs with the highest safety standards to keep you protected from powdery alpine slopes to the local skate park as you ski, skate, bike and snowboard. If you enjoy both winter and summer recreation, several Bern multisport helmets are designed to convert from cold weather to warm weather sports - so one helmet is all you need, no matter what time of year. If a multisport helmet isn’t necessary, opt for a specific helmet like a kayaking helmet, ski helmet, bike helmet or a hard hat for skateboarding. Many Bern helmets come dressed to impress with custom graphics and some even feature built-in audio. Whether you’re into snowboarding, skiing, biking or kayaking, keep yourself safe and your style kickin’ with a Bern helmet.

Love the helmet, look forward to winter uses. Came with extra padding (needs more without the winter insert if you're using it for biking). My only quibble is that the chin strap is so long that I'm not sure what to do with the excess!

Bern Baker Hard Hat with Audio

Size is small
By TSellersVerified Reviewer from Banff, Canada on 08/18/2009
Pros:
Comfortable, Headphone Compatible, Lightweight
Cons:
Not Well Ventilated
Describe Yourself:
Advanced
Sizing:
Feels full size too small
Bottom Line:
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I take a size 7 1/2 or Large. Based on the reviews I ordered the XL and it just fits me snug, so you definetly need to order one size larger than you normally take. Right out of the box the audio connector is inconsistent, you have to twist and turn the jack in the connector to get one of the channels to work. At the sale price I would recommend it with reservations, I would not recommend it for any price higher though.

The shape of the helmet felt a bit to round. It made the fit too tight and the look a bit odd.

Bern Nina Multi-Sport Helmet (For Girls)

NOT a snowsport helmet
By DisapppointedVerified Reviewer from Western Massachusetts on 07/14/2009
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I purchased this as a skiing helmet for my daughter. However, this helmet is not designed for winter use. Unlike the description, it does not come with an insulated ear-covering liner for winter sports. The box itself says "skate/bike" even though it is indeed the Bern Nina Helmet.
