By 1riverrat from IL on 11/16/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Wet Weather Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this coat for my husband, he wears a small and the small fit perfect. It is heavier than it looks, so you get the warmth without the bulk. It is dressy enough to wear to church and yet tough enough to wear for every day. He has not worn it much yet so time will tell, but it looks like a winner. It comes with more wax in case you need it. My only concern would be having it hang in the closet next to something that the wax would rub off on.
By Chuck the walker from Chicago, IL on 11/13/2009 Pros: Durable, Stylish, Waterproof Best Uses: Walking in rainy woods Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I like these rain pants, though have not yet had a chance to wear in the rain. Typical Filson quality (high). The pants may be too warm for heavy exertion in warm weather, because by nature they aren't breathable, but then, what rain pants are? I plan to wear for walking in the woods in rain, and know they will be really good.
By Fishing Ed from Huntington Beach, Ca on 11/10/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am quite satisfied with this product. The fit allows for the hat to sit comfortably on you head, but securely so it will not blow off in the face of high winds, something I encounter frequently chasing chukar in the mountains. The material is pretty light and pliable. I think the brim will do a pretty serviceable job keeping the sun off my neck and ears due to the way it overlaps these areas.
