Might as Well Have the Best By SchoenSlayer from Bellevue, Washington on 06/15/2009 Pros: Durable, Jacket Well Thought out, Tough, Water Wind Resistant Best Uses: Bird Hunting, Cold Climate Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels half size too big Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I spend 3 to 4 months each year in the field bird hunting. I have several Filson products for a reason. Season after season Filson products have never failed me . Upland hunting in Washington state can be brutal on clothing. My sons and nephews log many miles in the thorniest thickets on the Snake and Palouse Rivers to chase out a few rosters, huns, and chuckars. All of us swear by the Filson hunting jackets, vest and chaps. SierraTradingPost offered such a great price I bought a more for gifts. There is one drawback to the waxed tin cloth jacket. The break-in takes awhile. But its worth the wait.

By flydog from northern Utah on 04/14/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Experienced Hunter Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The only think I would change would be the waist belt buckle. The buckle is simple and will last forever, but is tedious to fasten and undo.
