This is IT!!! End of a quest. By Fireweed from New England and Alaska on 06/20/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Backcountry, Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I'm thrilled. I have been on a quest for the perfect ski / winter jacket for a couple of years. I have down jackets for severe cold, and I have old shell-fleece combos for the rest of the time, and I've been holding out for an insulated ski jacket I really like. This is it, and I can hardly believe I really have it: waterproof, breathable, pit zips, powder skirt, inner cuffs on sleeves to protect wrists, fleece at chin/neck, handwarmer pockets, subtle feminine embroidery on one side (and I'm not a girly girl, but I love it). Color was my last and optional criterion, so the fact that I love the color is a bonus: striking yet sort of subtle, feminine without being snow-bunnyish. ONE IMPORTANT CAVEAT: This jacket runs really small, especially for a woman with any sort of bust or reasonably long arms. I had returned a medium and a large before an extra large showed up.

Excellent fit. I am not sure about the color I chose - concrete.
By Willow from Fort Collins, CO on 06/16/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I love this coat. It fits well and the flannel-like fabric adds to my range of movement and is just plain cozy. It's definitely a functional winter coat, but is stylish as well. I haven't tested it in super cold winter temperatures, yet but I have high hopes for its performance.

By In the Lou from St. Louis, MO on 05/27/2009 Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I love Orage, but not this time. I thought the collar looked interesting, which made me want to buy it more. So bought 2, one for me and one for friend. Loved the fit and fabric, however, the collar laid weird and looked like it was bigger on one side on both of the sweaters. Looked like they might be irregulars. Returned
By poi from washington dc on 05/22/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Stylish Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Got this in a rush since we were going to Whistler skiing at the last minute in late March. Loved the jacket, had enough pockets for everything, including excess kids stuff, was warm when I needed warm, and cool enough when it got 60 degrees. Stylish, love the color (blue) and will use it again and again.
Will say, it runs a bit on the small side, but not tight. Works well with lightweight fleece, but can't fit anything bulky.
By Piper from Newfane VT on 04/14/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill Describe Yourself: Advanced Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great stylish vest for casual wear and winter sports. Nice that it is reversible. Another quality Orage product. It could use another inside pocket but that is not the end of world.
