By Grouser from Twin Cities on 11/01/2009 Pros: Breathable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Downhill, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: It is good quality but not as nice as the Orage made in Vietnam this one hails from China and they lost some of the good detail in the manufacturing of it. But still worth the money and gets 4 stars!
Great jacket in all but a few critical By Den from Barre MA on 10/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too long Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Sleeves were at least two inches too long. Zipper seems flimsy. It is on the left side and was often difficult to disengage. Interior wrist cuffs were too tight to get in and out of the jacket easily. Other that these complaints - I loved the jacket but returned it.
By tclarkmd from Chicago, IL on 10/29/2009 Pros: Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Cons: Not Enough Pockets or Features, Poor Breathability, Teeny Tiny Pockets Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I am a 30-31 waist, and I got these in small (29-31) which just fit (as opposed to my North Face Monte Cargo's that are also size small, but fit more like a 30-32). But if I gain any winter weight, I'm hosed. I also got these in Bone, and they get dirty just by looking at them. They don't breathe very well making them a little too warm, if you know what I mean: it's like wearing nylon track pants a bit. Although these make a cool "wwwrrrrtt wwwrrrtt" sound when you walk because they're cords, instead of the "zzzttt zzzttt" sound of my GTX and NF. I find the NF more comfy and practical. I may return these.
Great style, fit and texture By Ski bum from Helena, MT on 10/29/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Durable, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Downhill, Snowboarding/Skiing Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Super ski/snowboard pants. Great fit, style, and comfort. The corduroy fabric is super soft, and you won't slide down the hill very far with these on.
By charlie from Ulster Park (mid hudson valley), NY on 10/28/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, I'm sure it's durable too, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Outdoor Professional Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: i usually compare good "go to church/Dance" cloths w/my work wear ie. Carhartt & Helly Hansen. This ski designer knew what i wanted. I'm very happy & satisfied w/the purchase plus i got to dance a lot.
For a review of buying from STP, i have only 2 companies nationwide i consistently buy from because they have such good product & fantastic CSR's - the other is AGRussell.
By S from Fort Collins, CO on 10/27/2009 Pros: Breathable, Durable, Versatile Best Uses: Casual Wear, Fitness, Freezing Conditions Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This jacket has been great. I'm 30 years old (5'4") and found this to be a PERFECT fit...and because it is a kids' coat, it was so much cheaper. It has all the great features I would expect in an expensive adult jacket...powder skirt, fleece cuffs with thumb holes, optional ventilation in the arms, tons of pockets inside the jacket, etc. I plan to wear it for general winter needs, outdoor fun, and skiing.
Great Jacket. Good value for money By Ali from Australia on 10/27/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Waterproof, Wind Resistant Describe Yourself: Getting Started Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I am yet to use this jacket as it is summer here in Australia but am heading to Switzerland shortly. Well made good quality and expect it will do the job. Has all of the necesary pockets etc for goggles, ski passes etc. I was not confident with US sizing but the XS is a good fit and I am Australian size 6-8.

I thought I lost the first so I purchased the exact jacket, then I lost a bunch of weight so I had to buy a smaller size. The jacket is great! Two thumbs up.
