Thin, for rain yes, for Snow NO By Explorer from Seattle, WA on 10/08/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Waterproof Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Inseam: Feels true to length Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This pant is really just a water proof pant for rain, not snow. It is very thin, not warm enough for snow. The original price states [$]. No way, it is worth $19.99. With 70% off, the pant is still overpricing.
By Shelley from Carrabassett Valley, ME on 10/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm, Windproof Best Uses: Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels too short Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Love the funky design of this coat. I'm 5'4" 125 lbs and I found even when I ordered a size up it was surprisingly short in the arms and a little shorter waisted than I thought. Definitely order up. Gorgeous coat though- I will buy Orage again.
Super warm, not recommended if you're going to sweat at all though, even with the pit zips (sort of an all-or-nothing deal). Best for cold lift service days.
By Clint from DC on 10/05/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Lightweight, Warm Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Hiking and Camping, Skiing/Snowboarding, Wet Weather Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer Chest Size: Feels true to size Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Really good value for money. High quality materials at a fraction of the price you pay for some brands that people may recognize more readily.
By Citygirl from Chicago on 10/03/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stylish, Warm, Wind Resistant Best Uses: Casual Wear, Hiking Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Chest Size: Feels true to size Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sleeve Length: Feels true to length Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I really like this jacket. I bought it for casual, city, cold-weather wear. It is warm and looks flattering. I agree with other reviewers that it would be nice if the hood were removable. As an infrequent skier, I cannot speak to the jacket's +/- as skiwear, but I love it for hiking and everyday use.
By Nik from MT on 10/02/2009 Pros: Breathable, Comfortable, Stylish, Waterproof Cons: Bulky, No ski edge reinforcement, Poor Ventilation Best Uses: Casual Resort Snowboardin Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are nice pants. I do a lot of back country skiing so the insulation is too much. These pants don't have reinforcement on the inside of the ankles therefor are no good for skiers. Other than those two issues (important to me, but not all), these are great pants if they perform to their specs. Please note: I sent these back before ever using them.

By Applachian runner from TN on 10/01/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Durable, Warm, Waterproof Best Uses: Snowboarding/Skiing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought these pants for my daughter. They are a great deal for the price. An excellent pair of ski pants, with lots of pockets, and I can tell they will last. The fit is good. The pants even have velcro taps on the sides of the waist to tighten it up if you want.
