By Eggmanj from St Paul, MN on 06/30/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Cons: Floppy front flap pocket Best Uses: Cycle commuting Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great bag. Good size. Most other brands are either too small or way too big. Haven't had it in the rain yet, but see no reason why it wouldn't be waterproof. Feels great on the back too!
By mollita bogita from Hawkins, TX on 06/29/2009 Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Great quality cooler. Have used it once and it held ice well. Lightweight and also works well for dirty clothes after camping.
too narrow, didnt inflate very well By padlnjones from greenville, sc on 06/29/2009 Cons: Difficult To Inflate, Too narrow Best Uses: Car Camping, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: admittedly, the instructions say to inflate/deflate several times before using, but I decided to return it. I dont mind blowing one of these up the last few puffs, but this didnt want to self-inflate at all. Also, I am 6 feet 210 lbs, and it was very narrow for me.
Not self-inflating, felt good though. By Hiker chick from Cambridge, MA on 06/28/2009 Pros: Comfortable, Compact Roll Up Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I bought this pad to go with a GoLite minimalist hoodless down bag, as a cheap 3-season sleep system that could fully stuff within a short-torso W's backpack (Gregory Pingora XS 49L). The first couple of times I have brought the pad out to self-inflate, it has not (even given several days to do so). However, it has only taken about 5-10 breaths to blow it up myself, and is totally not strenuous even if you'd been hiking all day. I wasn't too impressed the first time, but the second time when I tried it out with my sleeping bag on a hard tile floor, I thought it was quite cozy and a likely keeper (whether or not it "self-inflates"). Again, not field-tested, but there are lots of durability reviews out there for this item.

By kathi from huntingdon, pa on 06/24/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, Strong Material, Tight Closure, Waterproof Best Uses: Paddling, Sailing Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Clothes and sleeping bag stayed dry in this bag as it sat in water in the back of a kayak. Liked how it can be compressed using ari valve and it can also be used as a pillow of sorts by inflating.
