Pacific Outdoor Equipment

Pacific Outdoor Equipment

Based in Bozeman, Montana, Pacific Outdoor Equipment was started by outdoor enthusiasts who love backpacking in the surrounding Rocky Mountains and paddling down the Yellowstone River. Their love for the outdoors spawned Pacific Outdoor Equipment, a grassroots company devoted to producing some of the lightest sleeping pads on the market as well as innovative waterproof dry bags and packs specially made for canoeing, kayaking and backcountry travel. In fact, Pacific Outdoor Equipment received the 2004 Editors Choice Award from Backpacker Magazine for their groundbreaking MaxThermo sleeping pad. If your recreation calls for top-quality waterproof dry bags and outdoor sleeping pads, look no further than Pacific Outdoor Equipment.

The quality of this thing seems pretty good; tough material, nice construction. When not being used as a bear bag, I think it will also be very handy as a dry bag. Multi-purpose. Gotta' love it!

Pacific Outdoor Equipment Insul-Mut Dog Bed - Medium

don't expect cushiony
By mar from colorado on 09/29/2009
Pros:
Attractive Design, Easy To Clean
Best Uses:
Indoors, Medium Pet, Small Pets, Travel
Describe Yourself:
New Pet Owner
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
At first, I was very disappointed in this product. The filling was scarce and was comprised of what seemed like old packing peanuts. But, then I realized that it would fit inside Olive's crate perfectly; she'd have a little bit of cushion, and she'd still have some head room to sit up. I put the blanket she'd been sleeping on on top of it becuase it was a little noisy in the middle of the night. An OK product for the price but don't expect anything very cushiony.

Ok, not great
By JWVerified Reviewer from cleveland, OH on 09/28/2009
Cons:
Concerned it won't last, Thin, Thin on padding
Best Uses:
Indoors, Small Pets
Describe Yourself:
Professional Pet Trainer
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
I will use this in my travel crates under something else. I do like that the outside surface looks easy to clean, but the stuffing it so poor in quality and quantity that I will replace it with my own padding. I will also use a crate pad on top of it.
