By Yakushima Boy from San Luis Obispo, CA on 07/23/2009 Pros: Good padding, Large capacity Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip Describe Yourself: Casual Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This bag provides safe place for your electronics and wallet in rain.
I used this bag three days in a mountain where rains quite often.
We got quite a few rain but this bag protected my camera quite well.
I have tested in a shower, but a good amount of water seeped in the bag.
I recommend not to use this bag in storm.
They even cut the word MUTT short! By pooches ma from east coast on 07/22/2009 Cons: Uneven lumpy and THIN Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: this product arrived rolled up in a small box and even after unrolling it never fluffed up to an inch. it is made of shredded pieces of foam rubber and barely enough to fill a gallon sized bag not the entire bed! Awful quality. Two dollars would have been too much for it.
By Neighs from New Hampshire on 07/21/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Easy To Clean, Long Lasting, Soft, Thick Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These beds are awesome! I ordered a large and a medium sized bed for my 2 boxers. When they arrived, they looked quite thin but I was so pleased when I put them on the floor and my dogs fluffed them up! They're actually thick and my dogs seems to love them! I'm thrilled that the materials are safe and green, and it seems so far like the materials will be fairly odor resistant too. SUPER nice dog beds at an amzing price! I'm actually thinking of buying a few spares...
By ptop from New York, NY on 07/21/2009 Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Material tears very easily. Mine tore a seam at the handle on the first use. They have another model with reinforced seams that is much better.
Perfect for my Yellow Lab! By lady79 from East Syracuse, NY on 07/15/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Stows Easily Describe Yourself: New Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This bed was perfect size for my 1 year old yellow lab. It has enough stuffing in it for her too. It is not completely stuffed so depending on how soft of a bed your dog prefers, you may need to add more. My Lab loves to jump into the bed when she is playing. The material is cool for the summer time and will be warm in the winter as well. I thought I wasordering a pink colored bed, but it came in the auqua color you see in the picture. Beautiful color though! Images shared by: lady79First day with the new bed Tags: Using Product
By Bigfoot from Eugene, Oregon on 07/13/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Comfortable For Pet, Easy To Clean, Long Lasting, Soft, Thick, Will be easy to re-stuff Best Uses: Large Pets, Medium Pet, On hardwood floors, Small Pets, Travel Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Bought two for my dogs and am getting more for different areas of the house. Especially useful for dogs with arthritis.
Good but will it hold up? By Rich from USA on 07/13/2009 Pros: Easy To Carry, Tight Closure, Waterproof Best Uses: Adventure Racing, Paddling, Sailing Describe Yourself: Professional Guide Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This looks like a great product design but only time will tell if it holds up. It is made from a thin material with a waterproof lining like a tent fly. Only time will tell if this will hold up under extreme use. I wouldn't place anything too valuable in it until it is proven over a years use or so.
By vitg from Boston, MA on 07/10/2009 Best Uses: Backpacking, Paddling Describe Yourself: Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: 25L capasity is enough for basic light cloths change. For extra fleece jacket, pants and shoes you'd need probably 50L bag.
Material is light, so I'd carry the bag inside a protecting case (another bag, backpack).
If you care about weight, I'd recommend it.
Stuffing not what I expected By Lucyann from Nothern NY on 07/07/2009 Pros: Attractive Design, Soft, Thick Best Uses: Indoors, Large Pets, Medium Pet, Small Pets, Travel Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The stuffing, instead of being one solid piece of foam is a bunch of chunks or small pieces of torn up foam...seems comfortable enough for the dogs but I would think it would be a bit lumpy....I am not sure how it will wash...if I had realized it was not a full solid piece of foam I would not have bought it.
By erin from new mexico on 07/07/2009 Describe Yourself: Long-time Pet Owner Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: I was surprised when I received this item, after having read many good reviews. I don't know what "up-cycled" remnants is supposed to mean, but this is basically a poorly-sewn slippery nylon bag full of 2-3" chunks of leftover foam. Even after letting it sit overnight to re-fluff (it comes packed tightly), it's only about 2/3 full. And if you were to remove the cover to clean it, you would be left with a pile of loose foam remnants. Not worth even the cheap price, but a pain to return because of the size.
