Panoptx

When Panoptx started manufacturing sunglasses, they tossed out the blueprints and started from scratch. For everything from motorcycling to skiing, Panoptx sunglasses are designed for the most demanding customers who insist on superior eye protection. Advanced lens technology powered by innovations like NXT® delivers first-rate color management and optical clarity, and polarized lenses cut glare. Sunglasses with patented frame designs, like the Panoptx Airlock, shield eyes from dust, debris and wind as well as damaging UV rays. When it comes to protecting your vision, few eyewear companies rival Panoptx in the manufacture of safe, quality sunglasses.

Peripheral vision limited
Best Uses:
Athletics, Winter protection
Describe Yourself:

Sizing:
Feels true to size
Bottom Line:

Comments:
I use these mostly for winter activities like bicycling, hiking, snowshoeing etc.. The glasses are very comfortable and lightweight. The eyecups help keep out debris and reflected light making them perfect for those sunny winter days. The only cons so far are, you need to be careful when handling the glasses because the eyecups can come loose. Also, peripheral vision is somewhat compromised when the eyecups are in place. I guess you can't have everything :-)

Comments:
I recently had LASIK surgery and was forever getting debis blown behind my sunglass lenses despite the closest fit pair I could find to my face. These sunglasses do teh job of preventing tings from getting to my eyes with the foam cups. However, no instructions were included on care so I had to email/call to get those.

Comments:
Bought these for my first big zero degree backpacking trip and was very happy with the purchase. The glasses still fog up a bit here and there when you first put them on but this goes away when they adjust to the surroundings. Polarization could be a little better, but it definitely works. Comfortable fit, and keeps the wind completely out of your eyes. I was most happy about this because as soon as I put them on, my eyes stopped watering, which meant that my nose stopped running which is a major annoyance when you're wearing a balaclava or have on gloves. Very nice winter addition.

While driving, I have to turn my head moreso than with my ancient Rayban Wayfarer IIs. Otherwise a nice pair of glasses. I look forward to using them cycling, and mountain biking. They have a nice snug fit, but don't feel tight.

Great Fit, good polarization. Took them out for a spin on my road bike, and was not excited about the limited vision to the sides and below me, do not recommend using while cycling. Guess I'll take them to the slopes for snowboarding and try them there as goggles...
