Patagonia

Patagonia

Patagonia is much more than an outdoor clothing company. Patagonia’s proactive approach centers on using products and processes that are least harmful to the environment... giving outdoor enthusiasts products that support the enjoyment and preservation of the earth and its delicate resources. Patagonia was the first outdoor clothing company to produce Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR®) fleece (made from plastic soda bottles) and began manufacturing their entire sportswear line of 100% organic cotton in 1996. Although it takes more time, knowledge and money to do so, Patagonia understands the importance of sustainable products and supporting bio-diversity and healthy ecosystems. Patagonia clothing is long-lasting, stylish and performance-driven to wick moisture, repel water and insulate during outdoor adventures. Donating one percent of sales to restoration and preservation of the environment and supporting over one thousand environmental grant programs, Patagonia is true to its promise to be "committed to the core."

I am a thrifty spender that has gotten hooked on Patagonia clothing-- the discounts STP can offer me makes this one of the only outlets I purchase this brand from. This fleece is stiffer than other items I have purchased--but it is still soft and wearable. I bought the sable color and love how rich and deep chocolaty brown. Not metallic or pearly as shown in the STP photos. Will be keeping this item, I'm thinking it will be perfect for mornings or evenings out at the barn this fall and as a staple piece during the day for our cold Maryland winters.

I got these to wear inside my hundred-year-old plus house----they're so comfortable I've been wearing them around town too! (No snow yet.) I may have to get another pair to designate for indoor use. They're so warm I don't want to take them off!

Patagonia Drift Thong Sandals (For Women)

Look good - Feel dreadful
By RO from SoCal on 11/01/2009
Pros:
Breathable
Cons:
Hard footbed, Poor Arch Support, Uncomfortable
Best Uses:
House
Describe Yourself:
Alternative, Casual, Stylish, Trendy
Sizing:
Feels half size too big
Width:
Feels true to width
Bottom Line:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend
Comments:
There is no arch support and the footbed is very flat and hard. I cannot walk very far in these so they are just for "emergency" shoes around the house to slip on when I can't find other shoes. I will throw them away as the worst most uncomfortable thongs I ever put on my feet. Very disappointing for the price. Awful. Better bare foot.
