It does not need special batteries and works well on NiMH rechargeables. Produces a nice strong beam with the one LED. Very useful for night trail runs and hikes.

Small enough to fit in the front pocket out of the way or belt. The knife grip is to small to be of practical use for man hands. Good for opening letters, cleaning finger nails, opening packages. Currently lost in the laundry. Don't let the M16 fool you this is not the normal M16, I have 2 of them.
