By Hunting fanatic from Newport Beach, California on 10/29/2009 Pros: Compact, Great Value, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction Cons: Doesnt come with a case, Strap is a bit chincy Best Uses: Anytime, Bird Watching, Hunting, Sporting Events/Concerts, Wildlife Viewing Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: These are by far the best glasses for the price!!! I did a comparison to all glasses in this price range, namely Nikon and Leupold and these came up on top. The auto focus function is awesome! I would recommend these to anyone who is looking in the $200-$400 price range!
great value for the price By El Gato from Woodbridge, VA on 10/24/2009 Pros: Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction Best Uses: Hunting, Sporting Events/Concerts, Wildlife Viewing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have owned a pair of these binoculars since 1983 and they are still working great despite frequent heavy use. The 8X30 provides me with good field of view and plenty of magnification for my needs (Eastern and Western U.S. hunting and general use). I have recommended these to several friends and all have been very satisfied.
By Al the Archer from Colorado Springs, CO on 10/20/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses Best Uses: Bird Watching, Hunting, Sporting Events/Concerts, Wildlife Viewing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I have no complaints. The clarity and quality is better than any other set of binoculars that I examined for anywhere near the same price. Otherwise, there is nothing particularly special about this product.

By Ricky Rooster from Loveland, CO on 10/17/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Eyecup/threaded assembly fell off after 3 days of hunting. Optics seemed to be good, but quality just not there. No wonder they are close-outs.
By Lexy from Boston, MA on 10/17/2009 Pros: Compact, Lightweight, Quality Lenses, Strong Construction Best Uses: Bird Watching, Hunting, Sporting Events/Concerts, Wildlife Viewing Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: 8x22 Safari is the best product for the price. It is everything that I wanted in binoculars as compact as this and much more. I hesitated for a long time to buy binoculars because I never thought I'd have much need for it, would not get a clear picture or enough magnification without paying tons of money. O boy, was I wrong. I don't know how I ever managed to live without them. The best thing, they give clear perfect view and they are incredibly compact and light for such a high quality product.
