Well Designed, Weekly Use Too Much? By Weekly Traveler from New Mexico on 09/07/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Good Capacity Best Uses: Business Travel Describe Yourself: Career, Comfort-Oriented, Modern, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This product is one of the best designed laptop carry on bags I have ever used. The compartments are well thought out. But after about weekly use for less than one year the wheels fell apart. The rubber outter cover of the wheels parted ways with the hard plastic underneath. I cut off the rubber outter cover and the plastic wheels remaining work fine, but the wheels are (embarrassingly?) loud when the bag is rolling now. Despite this I still am using the bag and I would still recommend the product.

By Raconteur from Payson,AZ on 08/05/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Transport, Handy, Large Capacity, Lightweight Best Uses: Airline Travel, Extended Travel Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Usually as I travel I have a tendency to accummulate more in my bag than I had intended; this is a great addition; meanwhile; when boarding it keeps the addition things in a bag rather than bulging pockets.
too small to be useful, ok for kids By victorifan from chicago on 07/31/2008 Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: It's not useful in its folded up form, except perhaps as a small purse for a teenager.
By June from Ohio on 07/31/2008 Pros: Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: Business, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Career, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: The bag is heavier than I thought it would be, but seems to be very well-made. I am 5'7" and the handle is long enough for me to use comfortably. There are two main compartments: a padded one for laptop; and a larger one in front. It would be nice if the padding were removable as I don't always have a laptop with me. My biggest gripe is access to the larger outer section: it zips open in a half-circle, so if you want to access anything 81/2 x 11, you need to unzip the whole thing and manuver folders or papers inside. A messenger style flap top would have been much more practical.
Great item and an affordable gift By patsyonthego from northern california on 07/28/2008 Pros: Easy To Access Items, Easy To Carry, Good Capacity, High Quality Best Uses: Family Trips, Long Vacations, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Career, Classic, Comfort-Oriented, Practical Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I purchased one for personal use on air trips. I was very impressed with the various pockets for storing items. It is well made with a comfortable shoulder strap.
I came back to purchase others for upcoming holiday and birthday gifts.

By kukkaberra from Hooksett, NH on 07/27/2008 Pros: Good padding, Large capacity, Very adjustable Best Uses: Backpacking, Day trip Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational What Is Your Gear Style: Comfort Driven Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: I used this on a three week tour throughout Europe as my day bag to walk around with. I loved the expansion of the bag and the water bottle holder. I fit a laptop, sweater, notebook, 2 file folders of papers, and various other things and it was still comfortable even after walking about 8-10 miles a day with it on in 100 degree weather!!! Great bag, so glad I bought it!
By Organized traveler from Tucson, AZ on 07/23/2008 Pros: Durable, Easy to Pack, Strong Zippers Best Uses: Airline Travel, Camping, Short Travel, Weekend Trips Describe Yourself: Avid Adventurer What Is Your Gear Style: Minimalist Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: This bag was so easy to pack with the expandable frame. I used it for weekend trips in Peru when I didn't want to bring my whole suitcase. There are lots of internal pockets to stay organized, and even more external pockets for easy access. The shoulder strap is padded and comfortable and doesn't get tangled. There is a wide, thick band of fabric that covrs the zipper: great for deterring pickpockets. The description says it converts to a backpack, but after much exploration, I couldn't figure out how to convert it.

Fits perfectly under an airline seat.
