By Tom from Portland, Oregon on 10/04/2008 Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This thing is sized for someone with a big head -- like a gorilla, or perhaps a moose. I've found it works best for me (stays on a little bit)when I put it on upside down.
Even then, it's horrible -- it doesn't stay put; I need to hold up the breathing hole to keep it from slipping. I really don't know how this company let it out the door.
I think there are probably some good designs out there for this use, but stay away from this one. I'd recommend a scarf, or even wrapping a shirt over your face before buying this.
OUCH! Should be used for punishment By Beast from Madison, MS on 08/22/2008 Best Uses: Hunting Fishing Describe Yourself: Advanced Sizing: Feels full size too small Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: You know the feeling you get when your shoes are too tight or your underwear is too tight? Same feeling with this on your face. Would have returned it but won't net enough of a refund after shipping to fool with it.
Super warm, but very bulky and heavy. By genegearhead from Westminster, CO on 07/15/2008 Pros: Could be a lifesaver, Good Protection, Warm Cons: Not Breathable, Very bulky and heavy Best Uses: Backcountry, Survival situations Describe Yourself: Competitive Athlete Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Although I haven't had the chance to try out the product in cold weather, yet, the mask seems extremely warm. The down side is that I doubt I'll have much use with it except for climbing a fourteener or such during winter.
This mask is bulky and heavy compared with my "regular" neoprene facemask that has suited me well. I just thought this item may come in handy some day.
Polar Wrap Exchanger ST Mask by Polarwra By quirkyjerk from California on 07/07/2008 Cons: Not Breathable, Poor Fit Describe Yourself: Casual/ Recreational Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: Difficult to get it to stay on right. Even if you do its diffucult to breath through when you are exerting yourself. Too warm for anything but very cold weather (0 deg F or lower). Useful for very cold weather at low levels of exertion (ie camp, sleeping)

I wouldn't recomend this to anyone! By Mike old but active. from poland, Ohio on 04/24/2008 Describe Yourself: Advanced Gear Usage: Outdoor lifestyle, Winter Sports Sizing: Feels full size too big Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: The fit due to shape cannot be adequately adjusted, it won't stay on my nose.
By C-T-Walker from LONDON,ENGLAND. on 04/03/2008 Pros: Breathable, Dries Easily, Great technology, Warm Gear Usage: Cold Weather Living Sizing: Feels true to size Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Comments: Built on an effective breath warming system. The minimalist style surround fabric makes this model pocketable but not ideal for higher movement activity / sport. Okay for walking / gentle-jogging but the more substantial models will stay in place better during higher movement activities. -Good value within it's limitations.
By Jimmy from Sweden on 03/28/2008 Cons: Not Breathable, Poor Fit Sizing: Feels full size too small Comments: Do not by this product. It is impossible to breathe through. It smells and fits awkward. By the Psolar heat exchanger mask instead.
By 2 downhill skiers from Albuquerque, NM on 03/28/2008 Describe Yourself: Advanced Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend Comments: This is a terrific concept for warming the breath. Unfortunately, it's bulky and not especially comfortable. It's hard to imagine wearing it while downhill skiing (especially with a ski helmet). It might be better for other cold-weather activities.
